I wanted to like this, I really really did. I LOVE the show. It was just a bit too on the nose with the story from the show, and having the narrator thrown in really was the last nail in the coffin. That didn‘t feel like something Jane would‘ve done as a writer.

I read this fairly quickly. It kept me interested but I felt that the antagonist fell flat. The most interesting character with depth and weight was only on maybe 2 dozen pages. The last 2 pages were my favorite in the whole book, but I don‘t know that they were enough to make me really love the other 291.

I picked this book to be my beach read for a trip to the Riviera Maya in Mexico. Such a great decision!!! This book was so fun to read and had me laughing out loud on the beach, in the bath, in bed, at breakfast, lunch, dinner. Now I can‘t wait to read the next in the series! (As well as see the movie!)
