Wonderful. Indian boarding schools, indigenous knowledge, community.

And now I want to hug a sunflower seed. 🥹 This series is wonderful. Just that gentle, hopeful way of relaying the fact that we're all flawed and different and capable of change and deserving of belief in our ability to do so. Love the art. Very difficult not to hear the “baaaaaaad seed“ refrain to the tune of 'Bad to the Bone', which I presume was on purpose. 😁😉

I love this story line. It is an inspirational story line about the effects of one small thing and the big outcomes it‘ll lead to.

“A seed is a tiny package of life. It hold all the instructions for growing a new plant.“

You could use this book to teach about life cycles and could even conduct a science experiment where students can see how plants grow over time.

This is a very informative picture book that goes through the life cycle of a plan. It goes into the process of the life cycle while using amazing illustrations to demonstrate the process.
