DGRachel @WhatThePuck @Andrew65 Iron Gold was not my favorite of the series either, and you know it pains me to criticize Brown. It took me almost 10 days to get through it and I took a vacation day or two on release day to read it! He completely changed the format, and while I understand why, it really slowed the pace and let‘s face it, I had hoped Darrow would have matured more in the 10 years since Morning Star. I wanted to strangle him. 6y

DGRachel I love the original trilogy though. Even if you never read Iron Gold, be sure to finish the original trilogy! I‘m both looking forward to and dreading Dark Ages in July (I say as I look down and realize I am wearing my “Domina” t-shirt with the Gold sigil 🤣🤣) (edited) 6y

WhatThePuck @Andrew65 phew! That's a relief. 🤣🤣 I'm not crazy. I did almost cry when I realized I was 100-ish pages in and didn't remember anything and now I have to start over. Hopefully you fair better! I'll keep a look out for your updates. 6y

DGRachel @WhatThePuck It‘s definitely not just you! I‘m part of a private Facebook fan group and while few people were severely critical (Pierce, some of his family & close friends are members, too so people behave), it‘s obvious that Iron Gold is not a fan favorite. Good luck trudging through it. 6y
