As a teen, I LOVED this book! It was truly one of my favorites.
You think you know the story of Snow White? Think again. Grump, an unusual dwarf fascinated with the surface world is here to set the record straight.
This was an adorable and an interesting twist on a rather classic fairy tale. Grump is a snarky & curios POV that you can‘t help but sympathize with. Snow was spunky & clever. The narrator was perfect for the tone. I really enjoyed this, but felt the epilogue was entirely unnecessary. 🌕🌕🌕🌕🌑
An old children‘s book I never read, but it was a cute read! Follows a handful of kids and their worries ranging from having a crush to not wanting their stepmother. Cute read filled with British humor that may not be everyone‘s cup of tea. A bit of a product of it‘s time, but I liked it.
Just trying to get through my physical TBR, and trust me I‘ve got a long way to go haha. Promise it‘s not all comics and children lit. 😂
4/5🌟
Shaskan‘s twist on this TL story makes it a must add to elementary classrooms! The wicked stepmothers side of the story will have readers second guessing the classic tale. This story would do well in a DR setting. An article from ERIC explains the benefits of DR, and the techniques that can be implemented in the classroom. https://files.eric.ed.gov/fulltext/ED372435.pdf

In hindsight....this may be a bad idea 🤣🤣🤣

Y‘all ever have that book that you read as a kid but have a hard time remembering the title? This was that book for me. For YEARS I couldn‘t seem to locate it, and today it pops up on a donation cart at the library. What book do you wish would resurface so you stop feeling crazy?
Guys. I‘m about to get REAL vulnerable right now, but I need some serious help/advice/book suggestions... as I‘ve mentioned in previous posts, I have two stepdaughters (ages 5 & 6). As any of you can imagine or know from experience, it is HARD. (Continued in comments) #stepmother #stepmothertroubles #helpme #advice #booksuggestions #cryforhelp
