Becoming | Michelle Obama

"Confidence, I'd learned then, sometimes needs to be called from within. I've repeated the same words to myself many times now, through many climbs.
Am I good enough? Yes I am." (p. 284)

Let Michelle Obama's words give you a boost as your weekend comes to a close. You are good enough! You got this! You can do hard things!

#SundayMorningReading not sure there is any more room on my lap. 1 book, 1 7 yo boy, 1 switch, and 2 small dogs. They are all keeping me warm in the cold weather.

kspenmoll What a juggler! One thing about winter that is wonderful is all the snuggling that happens! Enjoy! 5y
MicrobeMom @kspenmoll yes it does! ❤️♥️ 5y

MayJasper I have certain books I like to read on Sundays. Today I'm hoping to finish this beauty. Though I am sure I will return to it many times. 6y

emilyhaldi Oh good! I keep thinking about picking this up but was afraid it might be too dry (edited) 7y

Just doing a bit of #sundaymorningreading with a second cup of #coffee. I'm enjoying this book so far, but the chapters are huge! I prefer smaller, easier to digest chapters

Foxyfictionista Love your mug! 7y
DivineDiana I also prefer short chapters. They give me the feeling that I am progressing in the story. Encouraging me to go on! 7y
OriginalCyn620 @DivineDiana I'm glad I'm not the only one! 7y
BkClubCare I am not a chapter watcher - I always react with confusion when I see comments like yours (cuz I didn't notice!!) but I do respect your preferences. Just strikes me funny that I don't see books the same way other readers do... 7y

The Big Four | Agatha Christie

Quite disappointed by this book... I love Agatha Christie and regularly read and re-read her books as they are my kind of comfort-reads. But this one is clearly not one of her best and barely got a pass.

LauraBrook This was one of my least favorites as well. 😕 8y
Delphine @LauraBrook It happens sometimes but even if I didn't enjoy it as much as expected, I'm still a really big fan of Dame Agatha! Which one(s) of her books do you really like? 8y
