Excited for #CampLitsy23! Thanks so much @BarbaraBB @Megabooks @squirrelbrain for hosting again! It‘s hard to choose, but here are six books from my current TBR. 📚
June 17 #BigJuneReadathinPhotoChallenge "Girl/Boy" one if the books i had on my shelf and decide I should read it. It was ok, a teen girl finding herself. @Clwojick
It's been forever since I watched the show so I can't say with any real certainty that the show wasn't problematic but the book definitely is. There's a lot of uncomfortable conversations here regarding race, sexuality and class which aren't handled or addressed well.
I did enjoy Kim and Stella's relationship and the whole family dynamic and while this book is very readable, it hasn't stood the test of time.
Yes, please. Except at my camp you could also read on the dock, in the woods, in a hammock, wherever you'd like. Let's read in Nature!
#LitsySummerCamp
Elizabeth Bennet would lead all the morning (& afternoon & evening) hikes & nature walks. Jane is a senior counselor & in her free time she writes her mother letters & dreams of young men with happy manners. Lydia would lead the girls sneaking over to the boy‘s camp at night & Kitty would follow her, paddling the 2nd canoe & almost giving them away with her cough. Mary would sign up (three times) for the talent show.

1️⃣ Ummmm... I don't. ? Definitely hotel for me!
2️⃣ Camp Coffee. ☕
3️⃣ The Hunger Games trilogy takes place mostly "outside" - if the done is considered outside.
4️⃣ Not really. Just read as much as I can! It's my last week teaching a summer course, so it will be a bit busy, but 'thons keep me motivated!

I love both tent and cabin camping- but with RA Im using cabins for my escapes into the “wilderness”. I would like to camp in a yurt some day.
2. Camp Enchanting Erudition
3. I did love A Walk In The Woods
4. My goal is to read every evening until I fall asleep- no tv or distractions.

Also I found this fun link to books: https://www.backpacker.com/stories/10-outdoor-books-everyone-should-read/
Caught wind of this just in time! I'm terrible at setting my own goals for a 'thon, but I'll think about it & post later! Thanks for hosting, @ImperfectCJ ! This sounds like a lot of fun. #litsysummercamp
