Elizabeth Bennet would lead all the morning (& afternoon & evening) hikes & nature walks. Jane is a senior counselor & in her free time she writes her mother letters & dreams of young men with happy manners. Lydia would lead the girls sneaking over to the boy‘s camp at night & Kitty would follow her, paddling the 2nd canoe & almost giving them away with her cough. Mary would sign up (three times) for the talent show.

3️⃣ The Hunger Games trilogy takes place mostly "outside" - if the done is considered outside.
4️⃣ Not really. Just read as much as I can! It's my last week teaching a summer course, so it will be a bit busy, but 'thons keep me motivated!

I love both tent and cabin camping- but with RA Im using cabins for my escapes into the “wilderness”. I would like to camp in a yurt some day.

Looking forward to #LitsySummerCamp! I went to day camp for years and loved it so much became a counselor there for 4 summers. Some of my most wonderful memories are of summer camp.
My reading goals are just read, read, read as my husband is away on a business trip and I have all the time in the world!

Just got home from Nerd Camp! What a truly amazing experience! I learned a lot and now have so many great ideas I want to implement in my library I feel so lucky and grateful that I got to share in the awesomeness! 😃📚💕 #nerdcamp

I'm off to Nerd Camp, littens! Nerd Camp is a literacy conference in Parma, Michigan! Two days of author talks, awesome panels, and all kinds of other stuff to help teach librarians and teachers how to get young people excited about reading! 😀📚💕 #nerdcamp

Here are two of my kiddos--the strawberry and chocolate of my user name (their brother is blond.) These two are off to camp this week and with their brother working and doing cross country conditioning, I'll be virtually kid free (but missing them!)
