I'm currently participating in the final #hashtagbrigade #buddyread of the year. 10ish chapters left, and I just don't care anymore. I've never read a book with more loose ends, dead ends, and 'we won't talk about that' plot devices in my life. Thank goodness for @BarkingMadRead keeping us sane and the humour flowing. Otherwise, I would have bailed around chapter 10!

dabbe I managed to get through THE BROTHERS KARAMAZOV thanks to this group and @BarkingMadRead's hilarious posts and @Aimeesue's hysterical dioramas, but this one? I bailed at Book 2. And I had also tried to read it a few years ago. I just couldn't do it. Again. Writing that goes on and on an on and on with tears all over the place and too many descriptions and meandering everywhere ... bleh! I'll be up for the January read, though! 🤩 9mo
