This is my second #maggieofarrell book (I adored #thismustbetheplace!), and I Am, I Am, I Am absolutely grabbed me from the first page. This book, a memoir that examines (as the subtitle says) 17 brushes with death, moves through O‘Farrell‘s near misses in episodes, each revealing a facet of her life, character, and perspective.
