Novel Journal: Pride and Prejudice | Jane Austen

I got this pretty Pride and Prejudice Novel Journal back in December & it remains untouched. I have an 'issue' with nice journals. Give me a cheap composition book or legal pad & I'm fine writing all over it, but with something so beautiful, it's hard for me to mark it up. Especially this one, where the lines of the paper are sentences from the book.😬I unwrapped the plastic for the pic & it smells so fresh & untouched too.🌺

callunakeep The struggle is real! 🤓 I was gifted one of these in the #conandoyleswap and I am having a hard time even contemplating the act of writing in it! I don‘t want to lose the ability to read the lines and I don‘t trust my hand to keep my writing between the lines! 6y

A few years ago at a village fete in a charity tent i picked up these four books - i have always been intrigued by this quartet but as yet they remain 'untouched' because i don't want to spoil these editions - i will have to make it a plan to read them, maybe on my next litsy classic challenge.
