Ummm. Someone didn‘t do his medical research!
This one has earned a permanent place on my shelf! Not many books cause me to cry and this one totally did. The subject matter was of particular interest to me because I work in the medical field as a physician assistant. I immediately fell in love with the characters and cared about their outcomes.
“It‘s as if the body is a candle and the soul is its flame. When the flame is sniffed out, all that is left to prove that there had been a flame is the candle, and even that we only have for a little while. Even the candle is not ours to keep.” 😢
If I have to be sick in bed it might as well be with a mug of hot tea ☕️ and my new book of the month. #bookofthemonth
“To a parent, your child wasn‘t just a person your child was a place, a kind of Narnia, a vast eternal place where the present you were living and the past you remembered and the future you longed for all existed at once.” -Ng. Wow!!! If this on your TBR do yourself a favor and move it to the top of your pile💕. #LitzyAtoZ
After 3 months of reading invested into this novel, I have finished it today. I am slightly depressed that it is over. So much of an investment of time and into the characters. Truly, a great novel of coming of age. #LitsyAtoZ

As a wife, mom, and hunter, I was eagerly awaiting the release of this book! It did not disappoint! Eva Shockey transports you on some of her great adventurous hunts as well as giving you a glimpse into the hard times.
So I finally gave in and started watching the series. I was so reluctant as I know how novel based series and movies typically go! This is literally my most favorite series and didn't want it to be tarnished by a tv series that didn't do it justice. I am happy to say that I am most pleasantly surprised!!
So ready to dig in!!!
I came into this book with very high expectations because I read A Million Junes, first. The beginning of the book, I felt was rather slow, however, the pace quickly picked up! By the end I was left in tears! All the feels!
