Eh. Maybe if I saw the theatrical production I'd feel different; I didn't hate it, I wouId still recommend fans of the series to give it a read, but leave your expectations of resurgent feelings conjured by Rowling from the original seven books at the door.

"This is the Zodiac speaking..."

Truly chilling, bizarre and mysterious. This was a great novel depicting the shock and horror the Bay area went through from 1968-1981 as they were terrorized by an evasive and deadly sexual sadist.

Sometimes I think.. if I had to choose between an ear of corn or making love to a woman, I'd choose the corn. Not that I wouldn't love to have a final roll in the hay - I am a man yet, and some things never die - but the thought of those sweet kernels bursting between my teeth sure sets my mouth to watering. It's fantasy.. Neither will happen. I just like to weigh the options.. What a wonderful dilemma. Sometimes I substitute an apple for the corn

I laughed, I learned; I'm not any closer to finding the woman of my dreams but 2017 can't be any worse then 2016, can it? knock on wood.

DimeryRene This book weirdly gave me hope and made things seem pretty bleak at the same time. 8y

I was invisible, and I was only just beginning to realise the extra-ordinary advantage my invisibility gave me. My head was already teeming with plans of all the wild and wonderful things I had now impunity to do.

It was at ten o'clock today that the first of all Time Machines began its career. I gave it a last tap, tried all the screws again, put one more drop of oil on the quartz rod, and sat in the saddle. I suppose a suicide who holds a pistol to his skull feels much the same wonder at what will come next as I felt then.

Every chapter made me laugh and cry at some point but at the end of each, and at the conclusion of this amazing novel, I came away with a greater understanding of what it means to truly be alive. READ THIS BOOK!!!

I will not dream anymore, you said. I will not set myself up for the pain. But then your team made the playoffs, or you saw a movie, or a billboard glowing dusky orange and advertising Aruba, or a girl who bore more than a passing resemblance to a woman you'd dated in high school - a woman you'd loved and lost - danced above you with shimmering eyes, and you said, fuck it, let's dream just one more time.

The world would be a vastly improved place if more people read and shared this Daniel Quinn novel. Inspiring, motivating and thought provoking.

It gets people out of their heads and into their bodies. I think if you can dance and be free and not embarrassed you can rule the world."

Consider one, a Litsy user who finds themselves in a fifth dimension, beyond that which is known to man. It is a dimension as vast as space and as timeless as infinity. It is an area that might be called... the Twilight Zone.

This collection was an enjoyable testament to the greatness of Rod Serling's groundbreaking television series; I highly recommend it to any fan of the wondrous, the bizarre and the unexplainable!

I enjoyed this book, I prefer the works of Gillian Flynn ('Sharp Objects', 'Dark Places' and 'Gone Girl') over Paula Hawkins' novel, but still a good read!

"The beauty of this world where almost everyone was gone. If hell is other people, what is a world with almost no people in it? Perhaps soon humanity would simply flicker out, but Kirsten found this thought more peaceful than sad. So many species had appeared and later vanished from this earth; what was one more? How many people were even left now?"

"'If you are careful,' Garp wrote, 'if you use good ingredients, and you don't take any shortcuts, then you can usually cook something very good. Sometimes it is the only worthwhile product you can salvage from a day: what you make to eat. With writing, I find, you can have all the right ingredients, give plenty of time and care, and still get nothing. Also, true of love. Cooking, therefore, can keep a person who tries hard sane.'"
