A good book but it didnt live up to its hype for me. I found it too mediocre; nothing out of the blue. But still it did suck me in (mostly because of my curiosity to know what happens) and thats what I wanted.

I had a hard time getting into this book but it was worth it. Plus, I feel like im in this never ending reading slump and I WANT TO READ MORE but im not getting that vibe. Im only 200 pages into The Golden Son after 2 weeks! Is it the series or just me? 😑😥

I feel sorry to say that this book was a disappointment. It was as if the author herself was rushing to finish it and was just dragging it to reach a 200 page count! Ugh IT MADE ME WANT TO GO INTO A READING SLUMP, IT TOOK ME A WEEK TO FINISH THIS BOOK because I didnt want to bail on it😑😭

I am... I dont have words.. SJM is the next J.K Rowling. Thats all I can say right now.

I was actually setting my book-shelves when I decided to mess up my room and do an impromptu bookish photoshoot😂😂. Here's one for the litsy fam!
(These are not the only books I own. There are more in the shelf/on the top/on my desk/ basically my room was scattered with books (I guess everyone can relate with the bookish love))😂😂

So this book was amazing. And the ending could've been a killer if I hadnt felt like I had read it somewhere else. It was similar to ACOMAF. Kinda disappointed but I really enjoyed it as well.

What I loved about this book: the amount of female heroic characters! Aelin, Lysandra, Kaltain, Manon, Nesryn, Nehemia. AH THAT FEMINISM😍😍 This book was soul-food for me through-out the week (such soul-food that came at the cost of my sleep but it was so damn worth it!!) Cannot wait to start an Empire of Storms!!!

Gotta admit this book was boring at first, no wonder it took me a week to finish this (or maybe it was my university and I had no free time😂). But the ending killeddddd me. Thank God I didnt read this series before, I couldnt have handled all those Sarah-specialised cliff-hangers😂❤

I envy Celaena so much, I want to take martial arts classes😂😂. She's such a badass and that is exactly what I love about her. SJM gave more insight on Celaena's personality/attitude in this book.
I'm still curious as to who she'll choose from Chaol or Dorian (my gut tells me its gonna be someone else and totally unexpected😂).

I finally started this series after months of avoiding it (I have no idea why). Needless to say, this book was mind-blowing. Sarah got all that from just reading Cinderella?! For those who do not know, SJM got the idea of writing ToG from Cinderella.
I mean.. WOW I could never have known that Cinderella was involved😂. Amaaaaaazing, starting the 2nd book today 😍

I have no words to describe how I felt when I finished this book.. Jussst amazing and oh the intricacy of all the details! 😍 Hope the 3rd book comes out early😂

I thought I wouldnt like it. Turns out I was wrong. I love the world Sabaa has created and the culture in it. Darn good. Kept me on edge most of the time :3

This book was bland and good. The bland part was Lyra's story and the good part was Gemma's story which had more action. I appreciate the writer's efforts but I wasn't really that hooked into it. Still, a good book🖒😊

This book took SUCH an unexpected turn, I still cannot believe how I missed it. I kept thinking that there'd be a happy ending but bo-ho-hoy was I wrong. It also made me realise HOW USED TO I AM TO HAPPY ENDINGS OH GAHHHHHH.
It was quite boring at the start but after approximately 300+ pages did it get spicy. I still cannot believe the ending.

I love it I love it I love it. Couldnt sleep without thinking of what was going to happen next, ALWAYS kept me on edge. (the GOOD edge, mind you😋)
Quite the cliff-hanger there too, although Sarah Maas's cliffhanger in ACOMAF still wins (sorry)😂💙💙💙

It's 6:29AM at my place and apparently I didnt sleep because I just HAD to finish Illuminae. I didnt understand it at first (mainly cuz I hate stuff related to spaceships or star wars(sorry?)) BUT ohmigosh it got so amazing and Im here questioning myself "HOW DID THESE AUTHORS MAKE SOMETHING SO BORING TO ME, SO MIND-BLOWING?". I had mixed feelings the whole time; half the time I was angry and the other half my eyes were brimming with tears..

Please, someone who has read this book, help me out.
So this AIDAN is trying to destroy the spaceships (Alexander and Hypatia) and have succeeded in destroying one (Copernicus). And now AIDAN IS disabled but Alexander wants it back online? And there's a disease going on in COPERNICUS EVEN THOUGH IT WAS BLASTED TO SHREDS? How are there even sickly survivors left? Wth is going on im so confused. (btw This is no spoiler).

Holy crap this book killed me.. I am numb right now; I do not know how to feel. Basically this book is top-notch off-the-charts AMAZING❤❤❤❤❤. I literally devoured it in one whole day. And I hate the male characters in it. So deceptive and betraying!😑😂
(BTW Is Katherine really a poisoner? Because I dont think so, not after the ease with which bla bla bla (inserts character's name) ate the poisoned chocolates).

I absolutely adore this cover. Plus, it smells like the lettuce and mayo sauce McDonalds serves which I used to like😂 (Im not a Mcdonald fan, I actually avoid and ask everyone else to avoid this place) 😅

Im dying. This cover is like something I didnt know I needed but now I know and HOLY SHEEEEEEET, it is BEAUTIFULLLLLLLLL. I can totally marry the person who illustrates covers like these.😍😂

It's more of a love story than action/terror and the like, so I can freely say that the book titles are a little misleading😛 Overall, I did like it and I might even re-read this trilogy because the Shadowhunter world is one of my favourites !

It was good but not as good as I expected. To me it seemed bland. All the reviews that I had read about it were all hyped up and exciting but I couldn't bring myself to be excited or feel any of those bookish feels that I usually feel when I read an amazing book.

My patience and determination to get through this book was rewarded. Yes, it was utterly boring during the first few chapters but I got really hooked in after 20-or-so chapters.
Dorothy is the queen of all evils AND a selfish drama-queen, The Scarecrow experiments on people by removing and replacing body parts (ALIVE), the Lion survives by eating everyone's fears and the Tinman just does cruel stuff to please Dorothy UGHHH.
Onto the next part!😂

Empire of storms is releasing tomorrow and I'm trying to quench my excitement/nervousness by starting this trilogy 😂😂 Im on chapter 16 and so far it's been a bit boring as if the author decided to end the book in between.
Still, I'm expecting this trilogy to blow my mind off 😂😅

Annnnd this trilogy is a win! The first part was kinda boring but it got amazing and intriguing further. Basically, to sum it up, this trilogy is about Angels vs Humans where angels think they are the superior ones bla bla and the whole forbidden love thing between Angels and Humans. (Patience in this trilogy is rewarded) 😂😝

I am literally starting to hate Tamlin, as well as Feyre. First, HE is totally using her to get UTTERLY USELESS INFO AND FEYRE IS JUST SO STUPIDLY BLINDED BY HIS SO-CALLED LOVE. I mean YEAH, ask a girl for info, make love to her and everything will be okay. Pfft. And Feyre is just so into herself. I mean YOUR ONCE-AN-ENEMY is offering you help, dammit you're supposed to accept it and be grateful rather than insult him , GOD!

So I'm thinking of buying this series. If anyone has read it, feel free to comment and tell me whether it is worth my time and money 😌

I enjoyed this book a lot and it literally helped me get through some anxiety that I had been facing for 3 days. Plus , Ohmygod I JUST LOVE THE COVER, every once in a while I would flip my book and stare at the cover and touch it and bla bla. 🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹

Im stuck between "I like it" and "I don't like it". I don't like it because it wasn't up to The Rick-Riordan-level. When I was reading the PJO and The HoO series, I wanted to finish each part quickly because of that curiosity that Rick specialises in sooo much. But Trials of Apollo was so slow and I just wanted it to finish. The short story at the end (Percy Jackson and the sword Of Hades) deserves a 5 star at least .
