I was wary about this intellectual coming-of-age novel. This book is centrally focused on feminism, but spans three generations of a movement. The characters are one dimensional, but I enjoyed the way it wrapped up.

Re-reading this fun story after@watching the movie. Loving the colorful personalities and over-the-top lifestyles of these Singaporeans!
No idea what I‘m in for, but I feel like it‘s something good.
Does anyone else look forward to Tuesdays because they know that this podcast is coming out? I sure do! #allthebooks @Liberty @rebeccaschinsky
@Dpotter @RealLifeReading I don‘t usually drink..but when I do..I‘m a pirate. I always use something completely random. I love to bake..my cheesecake is BOmB. Popcorn is my weakness. And both Sci fi and fantasy are pretty awesome.
Yooouuuu guuuyysss!!! I‘m finally finished! This beast of a book is definitely an investment of time and energy, but it‘s no shrug. (Hehe get it?) This Book was definitely before its time. I loved the strong female lead and the statements about government regulation, socialism, beaurocracy and capitalism. Not to mention the exploration into the meaning of existence. Light read: no. Good read: yes
Taking a break from Atlas Shrugged. This book is such a breath of fresh air! Brittany Gibbons is hi.lar.i.ous! On chapter 3 and I already recommend it.
Who else looks for others peoples books when you go to their house?
Finally decided to take the plunge and read Atlas shrugged. Advice? Encouragement? Thoughts?
With all the controversy over immigration...a book like this is needed. It opened my eyes and my heart.
A blind borrow from the library...looks like Mad Max meets kids comics...
VERY difficult read...but definitely worth it. I read it in one sitting. While it left me feeling sad and empty because of Jaycee Dugard‘s horrible experiences, I am amazed by her strength and ability to sort things out. She relives being abducted, raped, and hidden for 18 years and shares the difference in her point of view from then until now. I definitely need a pick- me - up after this one, I also have newfound faith in human resilience.
Rainy night reads! Excited to cozy up and watch the storm with this adventure ARC. Thanks Penguin Random House and David Ricciardi!
My puppies keeping me warm while I‘m halfway through #whitehouses. So far..so real...each succinct story is reeling me in farther and giving me the feels. Thanks for the ARC Random House!
This one comes highly recommended from the #allthebooks podcast. Excited for this read to start off my weekend!
Current listen: Three Wishes. Kristen Ashley, you are my drug.
Dedicated my week to this listen. Kind of meh, but I‘m in the home stretch!
