Really enjoying this one so far!
Really enjoying this one so far. The world-building is extremely interesting and the characters are intriguing.

Really interesting and thought-provoking. Will probably read again in a couple years.
Really enjoying this one so far!
This book was definitely interesting. Not enjoyable per say, but a fascinating look at the psychology of war and battle.
The beginning was strong but I didn't like the ending, it felt like I got to the end and nothing was resolved. What was the point of the story? It was a creative setting and some parts were really exciting, but overall my feeling is Meh.
Enjoying this one so far. Fast-paced and funny.
Meh. Definitely didn't live up to all the hype. Trope-y YA fantasy that was fairly predictable and boring. Skimmed the last 3rd of the book, won't be reading the sequel.
This one has been on my TBR list for years. Finally starting it.
Picked this up for a couple bucks at the used bookstore. Looking forward to it!
I thoroughly enjoyed this book and the narrative voice is one of the best I've ever read. It felt unique with some elements of a western and gentle spirituality that doesn't feel heavy-handed like so much "inspirational fiction" is. I'll be recommending it to a lot of people I know.
I've heard so many great things about this book and almost 100 pages in it's definitely living up to the hype. Plus the cover art is beautiful.
A great continuation of this series with new characters and more magic. Looking forward to the next one!
I loved this book, maybe even a little more than I loved Six of Crows. Also kind of nice to have a story tied up in 2 books rather than 3 or 5 or a never-ending series.
I love the cover art in this series so much! Can't wait to start this one.
This book was fascinating and portrayed historical figures as actual people rather than the one-dimensional characters in a history textbook. Recommended to anyone who wants to know about the Revolution.
Looking forward to starting this one.
I really enjoyed this latest addition to the series, though I think Queen of Shadows is still my favorite. This one was very good, but it got a little bogged down in the middle. The end sequence was amazing. Looking forward to the next one.
Benedict Arnold was a badass.
I'm abandoning this one. It's not bad necessarily, just not holding my attention. I have too many other books I want to read and I don't want to spend more time on one I'm not enjoying.
Hooray for another library hold. Starting this one tonight.
I really enjoyed this book! Magic, adventure, interesting world building. No love triangles or contrived romance. Definitely looking forward to the next book.
Yay for library holds! Looking forward to starting this one.
Made it halfway through and just couldn't continue. No character development or plot, just scene after scene of contrived, juvenile sensuality. Disappointing because I'm really enjoying The Throne of Glass series.
I'm sticking with it because the fantasy world is interesting by so far all I feel about Feyre, Tamlin and Lucien is that I want to punch them all in the face. 😡
I loved this book so much. I'm a horse person so that may bias my view but I thoroughly enjoyed it. Also liked that it was a YA not filled with excessively mature themes.
I loved this book! A great wrap up to the storyline and lots of character resolution.
Another great installment in the Inspector Gamache series. I found this one to be the most interesting so far.
Taking a little break from new books to catch up on some comfort re-reading.
This book was so fun! I loved the "atmosphere" with the different types of media and the story told from several viewpoints. It's an easy, quick read and fairly light-hearted overall.
Shouldn't have started this one while I have tight work deadlines. It's really hard to put down!
I really enjoyed this book. Felt different from A Homemade Life (less nostalgic) but I loved reading everything related to opening the restaurant from an honest and relatable narrator. Plus, recipes!
I enjoyed this book, though it felt a little disjointed at times. I liked books 1 and 2 of the series better but this one moved the story along and I'm looking forward to reading book 4.
I loved A Homemade Life so I'm looking forward to starting this one.
I LOVED this book. It was exactly what I wanted for the end of a trilogy, the best of all 3 books and a great conclusion to the storyline. One of the best series I've read in a long time.
Ragnar 😭😭. So sad.
I think this is my favorite so far in the series. More backstory on central characters and a beautiful setting. Looking forward to the next one.
Library hold came in: hooray!
100 pages in and this book is amazing. The first two in the series were great but this one feels like a whole new level.
I really enjoyed this book! Didn't quite know what to expect going in but there was good character development and a plot that wasn't completely predictable. The magical elements in this series are so interesting!
I loved this book! My favorite of the series so far. Great new characters and development of the world and storyline. Can't wait for Empire of Storms!
I know how to suffer. I know the darkness. This is not how it ends.
I liked this one even better than the first 2 in the series. It's nice to return to the same characters and follow along with their lives.
Library hold came in, so I'm looking forward to starting this one!
Great birthday gift from my husband! Looking forward to starting this one.
A really great sequel to Red Rising with a much larger scope and more world-building. I liked how the political aspects were discussed and Darrow is a great example of a flawed protagonist. Fair warning, it's a very sad book with a ton of violence and a really high kill-count.
"Because in the end, what does all the power in all the worlds matter if your closest friends can betray you?" -Darrow
