#ForeverNovember challenge day 4: Memories.
I have always loved Dr. Seuss and I would constantly check out the same books of his over and over in my elementary school library. 💚 I adored all the drawings and would pick out my favorite little character on each page.
Of course I had to use a picture of my #DrSeuss quilt my mom made for today's prompt, although I've used it before. I adore all the whimsical fun Dr. Seuss created. 💚

My granddaughters Natalya Rose and Emery Grace are little budding readers! Got to get these #LittleLittens started early! #KidsOfLitsy #BabiesOfLitsy
#LilithJuly Day 25: #BrassInPocket or a Wocket in your pocket? Here, one stretches credulity even further with creatures such as a jertain or a zlock. I mean, really now? But then again as a child, who cares? So long as you know it sounds like something that you already are familiar with. Once again, Dr. Seuss never fails to amuse. The nonsense words could even prove to be an inspiring mentor-text to children. My review: https://wp.me/pDlzr-912
One of many amazing Dr. Seuss books! This (F) book is filled with silly rhyming words that make kids laugh when they hear them out loud, especially if read with a lot of expression by the reader. I read this one during Read Across America. It was a fun book that had the students totally engaged. UDL 3.3-guide information processing & visualization and ESOL 17 & 20, provide contextual support through body language, & list the most important words.
#LiteraryLuck day 2- Lessons from Dr. Seuss
Probably the only Seuss books I have left.
I think we all know how influential the books are.

We read my Mini's favorite Dr. Seuss book last night in preparation for his last day as an only child! Going in to the hospital to be induced tonight. I'll see you on the other side. Wish me luck! 🙈

In honor of National Book Lover's Day, I decided to put the Dr. Seuss quilt my mom made me out on the bed. My kitties Dot and Penelope wanted to help. 😸💜📖
4⭐️ It‘s always fun to revisit seuss. Every adult should practice the tongue twisting fun of seuss every year or so, kids or no.

Missing my beautiful flower arrangement, i need to do another soon.
Looking forward to dress up days at school next week to celebrate dr. Seuss's birthday!!
my little book worm ♡♡
I mean, I'm the last person to denigrate the good Doctor, but really. What kind of poetry is it when half of the words are made up just to fit the rhyme scheme? What if Dickinson wrote, "Hope is a thing with feathers/that perches in the zethers"? Would America still be a great country? I doubt it.
