An entertaining read overall! I agree with other reviews that it builds up slowly at the beginning, but there are enough twists and events that keeps it intriguing. Though I ultimately never warmed up to main character, other characters throughout are lovable and interesting!

This is more political and slower paced compared to the first two books, but it‘s still thoroughly enjoyable and a satisfying end to the Millennium Trilogy! Currently unsure if I‘d like to continue reading the series written by a different author though...

It‘s been raining so much in our city, people have started to wonder whether we‘ve turned into Seattle!(Not that that‘s a bad thing, many coffee lovers here would love to have more of Seattle‘s quality of coffee in our area) This has been the first week since Feb. we‘ve had no rain all week. My husband and I went on a mini-trip to LA last month and we found this neat book at a cute little TASCHEN bookstore at the LA Farmers Market.
I‘ve never seen or heard of TASCHEN before stumbling upon their bookstore and I‘m glad we went in to browse. They have a great collection of different books and looking through the book cover designs is akin to being in a modern art gallery!

#Manga has always been a great quick pick-me-up for me; it perfectly marries my love for reading and watching movies. “Stories and pretty visuals together? (Well, horrifying images in this case since this is #Ito we‘re talking about) Yes, that‘s perfect!”
Great story collection, but I did prefer the side stories a bit more than #Frankenstein itself. The other tales just had more of the “horror” feel. Overall, a good short read!

I expected this to be a simple casual read, and though it was, it got me tearing up and attached to the characters. So many heart strings tugged!
It has the distinctive slower pace of Japanese storytelling as the mood and background is set in the beginning, but once the plot gets going, prepare for quite the emotional journey!

Working in interior design, I sometimes lose sight that my own home is for my family and me. Our home is not for a client who I have to find the perfect “stuff” for, it‘s for my husband, me, and our two lovably derpy cats.
This book is reminding me that work and home are two different things; what my clients need are not necessarily what I need too.
