My first read of 2018! I am planning to get through the rest of the Cosmere books this year. That means all 6 Mistborn novels, and the White sand graphic novels for me. I am loving the magic and the quick introductory section of Final Empire. I think I will burn through this quickly!

Favorite book of 2017. Easy.

One of my all time favorite books! I am currently reading it aloud to my boyfriend. I think experiencing this book audibly really adds to the story. To me the series is a love letter to the art of story telling. Highly recommend to any fantasy lover!

Another recent purchase! I was actually at a signing for this book and didn't buy a signed copy that day, but the shop still had some left last weekend so I finally completed my collection of this series! I just love Marie Lu's creativity and thoughts on the writing process.

This book is a solid 4/5 for me. I have to be in the mood for these books for sure. The story is fast paced and violent and insane!!! the last sentence made me buy the next book, but I'm going to wait till I want a short quick horror book again. My best description of it is Mean Girls the horror movie.
