The first have was a fun, witty, futuristic Sci-Fi with a lot of clever things to say about the world. The second half was a bizarre, psychedelic dream world that seemed to give up on the wolves it had created. The last two chapters of the book tell a whole different story that felt irrelevant to the rest of the book. A really strong start with a real flop of an ending.

Okay so I thought this book was good and I want to watch the Netflix series now *but* I found it quite complicated at times and it did have some very disturbing bits. The concept is fantastic though and there were some interesting scenarios exploring the implications of a world like this. ⭐⭐⭐

tessavi I watched the show before reading the book, which made it easier to follow. The next books were harder to grasp. 3w

The Dakota Winters. 8. To Be Taught, If Fortunate. 9. If We Were Villains & finally 10. Dark Matter(Michelle Paver). I‘ve read 180 books so far this year, it was difficult narrowing them down. Most I‘ve given 4⭐️ in GR, it‘s been a very good reading year.
