Went a little crazy at C2E2 book-wise. No regrets.
Well, this one was disappointing. It was toneless, declarative statements and predictable subplots galore. Also, why the over-powered special snowflake main character?
Thankfully I won't be picking up it's sequel since it looks like it's going to be more of the same. #ferals #jacobgrey
See, I wish I could do a shelfie, but my shelves are so full of junk you can hardly see the books.
Unpopular opinion time? I think Paddington is way better than Winnie-the-Pooh.
So can you tell I'm somewhat obsessed with foxes?
Foxcraft, while having some pretty dismal pacing, still entertained me. I look forward to reading the next I installment! 🦊🦊 🦊 #foxcraft #inbaliiserles
I am currently stuck in an endless loop of book-watch Buffy- book- watch Buffy. Such a vicious but satisfying cycle.
Just got my ticket for C2E2 along with some awesome Hellboy art. So pumped!
Finally got myself down to 10 books on my library card. It hasn't been this low in months. Downside to working in a library, you start to hoard books more than usual.
A really cute and quick read. I really liked the art style, whereas the story was....well, not exactly ho-hum but simply average. Really takes advantage of the steampunk aesthetic. #newsprints #ruxu
Well that was.......Kind of disappointing. Caraval is one of those books that is ruined by its ending. Way too clean cut. Makes me feel as if Scarlet didn't sacrifice anything for her happy ending, therefore making the stakes pointless.
I liked the idea of the book and its atmosphere but the execution was just overall unsatisfying. I may pick up future installments just to see where it goes from here.
One of my favorites of all time. This book has shaped me in so many ways and has opened my mind to brilliant concepts. I have read it so many times over. I have both the U.S. and U.K. editions, but you can bet that I will buy the 10 year anniversary edition when it comes out. Thank you Patrick Rothfuss. Featuring Steve the Draccus! #thenameofthewind #patrickrothfuss
Fair warning, I'm about to go through my Goodreads list and out all my Read and To Read books on here. You're going to be seeing a lot of me. 😉😉
Beautiful quote from a beautiful man. One of my favorites. #oscarwilde
Almost halfway done. I've heard some criticisms on the pacing and world building. I think the former is all right, but I might agree with the latter. Then again, the majority of this story seems to take place in a setting that's far removed from the world. #Caraval #StephanieGarber
Finally some ace representation! I knew I always liked Jughead for a reason.
Starting a new journey today. Let's see where it leads.
