The last half was a doozy. There was an ick factor just purely because of the reason for everything personally for me.

I LOVE JVN. He‘s so inspirational and he really tells his truth in this very open memoir. It‘s crazy how we are the same age and yet he has lived so much more than me. He had me laughing in the first chapter.

I loved Leah‘s candor and sense of humor while listening to the audiobook. She is flawed, knows it and lets others see it. She‘s a human being. I‘ve seen her A&E show as well and it‘s very eye opening to something I‘ve already known was a cult to me.

I like how descriptive the author was. It‘s almost like I could see the fabrics, the jewels and smell the food. Story dragged a bit here and there, but still a good read

Probably one of my favorite Kasie West books. It was very relatable for me as an artist when delving into the art world and trying it to find your way through the millions of other artists and to still keep your own voice. The ending was super sugary sweet. Sickly sweet, but just like the sugar addict I am, I‘m going to continue to read for more of it!

I enjoyed this version of Beauty and the Beast. There was even more backstory and magic, which I didn‘t think possible for this, but they pulled it off! Quick read, but I had to use a faster speed to get through all the pauses the reader used. #twistedfairytale #disney #asoldastime

I‘ve never cried so much reading a book. I loved this book. It was so heartfelt and May‘s relationship with her father reminds me so much of my dad and I. I‘m glad I took off work today to finish this, because if I tried to finish this at work, my co-workers would think something horrible happened.

Also I need to find a man that is like Joe and Drew. So I guess I need a Polish American one??

I loved this book so much! I did the audiobook and Amy‘s witticism and sarcasm really come through a lot better when you hear it in her voice.

I loved this book. The author has a way if providing vivid and engrossing descriptions to help create the foundation for her world. I‘m excited for the sequel! Spoiler below

Got some serious Joffrey Baratheon vibes from Princess Sophia.

I loved this book! I watched the movie on Netflix awhile ago, but even before then I wanted to read this series. There were some things different than what the movie put in that helped shed light on certain aspects. I cannot wait to read the next 2 books!

I‘ve been wanted to read this series for awhile, before the Netflix movie. However, now that I‘ve seen the movie, and my love for Peter K (and coincidentally Noah Centeneo) have been cemented in my heart, I‘m starting to read this finally. I‘m still about 7 books shy of reaching my TBR goal of 35. I know that may not be a lot for some, but for someone that has ADD, that‘s a lot! I‘m so happy to be reading this now!

I enjoyed this book and did both the audiobook and regular book reading. It was a different take on Victorian era manners and proceedings in an alternate reality. I preferred listening to the audiobook because the narrator was able to bring the Victorian era into the book for me. Enjoyed that the author was able to also include the LGBTQ community in the series which led to its believability in a more modernized way.

This was a very interesting book about a family living in Wilkes-Barre (which is only about 1 1/2 hours from me) that is tormented unceasingly by a demon and 3 other spirits. The faith this family has is astonishing despite the stressful and anxiety filled events that happened to them. I‘m glad this family was able to move successfully. I loathe how the Catholic Church did absolutely nothing for this family.

Holy hell! Thank you for making me ugly cry and grab hold of my cat! I haven‘t let him go for 10 minutes and he‘s putting up with it. Wonderful story about how pets are so much more than animals. They really are family and the love shared and the willingness to do anything for them, well that‘s just something every pet owner can understand.

I did the audiobook of this. While I love Drew‘s enthusiasm as she is reading, her story was hard to follow. She jumped from story to story and it was not cohesive.
