Renegades | Marissa Meyer

Pickpick

OMG. Marissa Meyer has done it again. I loved the story and super hero‘s and villains. I don‘t know who to side with yet. Sometimes it feels like Renegades are love sometimes the Anarchists seem right. But the ending though! I had this feeling that those who seem like they are doing good always have something up their sleeves 🙈🙈

The sequel to London Belongs to me. It was a great book. I enjoyed reading about Mark‘s background story and it‘s always fun to read what are the characters up to once the book ends. But not all sequels are as good as this one was :)

Far from the Tree | Robin Benway
Pickpick

This book is so beautiful that i am at a loss for words to describe it. The relationship between siblings has been realistically captured by Robin Benway and nothing felt overly dramatic. It felt like I was standing right there with Maya, Grace And Joaquin. Fans of This Is Us NEED to watch it!!!

Got this ARC from Net Galley. It was a good book. Like a ray of sunshine in all that went bad during that time. I can‘t believe that it‘s a true story.

It didn‘t break me as TFIOS did but It was a great. Worth the read. I loved his writing style. Nobody can write more beautifully than John Green. 😍😍

TrishB I actually thought this was sadder in a different way - it felt more real I think. 6y
bookninja It was sadder but her inner struggle was too overwhelming to read. It wasn‘t an easy read 😢 life itself is so difficult that I want books to escape from reality. Maybe it wasn‘t the right time to read it. I loved different aspects of the books but as a whole it wasn‘t wow for me. 6y

Mehso-so

I am only giving it so-so because of a few things I liked in the book. If it wasn‘t for those things I would have given it “pan”. I loved the tattoo Sagan gives her. I like how he wanted her to get better first and love herself first before they could move forward in their relationship. A smart and sensible move considering it was a YA book. I think that‘s all I liked about this book. Really disappointed by it. It was my most anticipated book.

I finished this in a day. When I'm at work, I never stop working. I work till the last minute but because of this book I shut down my computer half an hour early and just read and read. I loved the strong female characters. The sisters are just 😍 my favourite romance novel up till now (I'm new to this genre)

It was a cute YA book, I loved how the girl knew her priorities and didn't give up on her dreams just because of a boy. She knew what she wanted in life and worked hard for it.

This book was so much fun to read. I finished it in one sitting only. A contemporary book which wasn't a love story, it was refreshing to read something different for a change.

This was a great book! It touched my heart and soul. It reminded me greatly of The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Society. The way Sara sees books and how books and the characters mean more to her than real people hits so close to home 🙈🙈 Loved it! Read it in one day!!

This was my second book by Sonali Dev and I was a bit disappointed. I wasn't invested in the characters as much as I was in the first book. The story felt too rushed. But I still love the author and will definitely read her other books.

The Bollywood Bride | Sonali Dev

This is my first book of this author and I loved it! Ria and Viky's romance is so good. I loved everything about it. Vicky never backs down and that's what makes their connection so perfect. He knows what she wants and he is just not willing to let her go. 😍😍

Those Children | Bilgrami Shahbano
Pickpick

After a really long time I read a book based in my home country. Even though it was a heavy book in terms of the story but the writing was so simple I breezed through it. Finished it in a day. Reading the story from the perspective of an 11 year old was so much fun. Ferzana is so naive and so full of imagination. She reminded me of Anne from Anne of Green Gables.

Okay so I don't know what to do or read now. Finished this one last night and still thinking about it 🙈 I can't come to terms with the unexpected death that happens and also I love Kaz. I wish there were more books but I am also happy that in today's world where the series are never ending and it gets frustrating at least this one is finished. Hate to say goodbye to it though.

Also I adore the illustrations. All the characters are just as I imagined. Now it makes me want to re read the lunar chronicles 🙈

This book was hilarious 😂 I didn't even realize it was 500 pages. Imagining the kings and other royalty turning into animals was so bizarre that it was funny. Kudos to the authors for coming up with such an idea. Loved the book. It's a must read for historical fiction fans who like fantasy too and vice versa.

It was an interesting book never thought this would be the ending. I think I like thrillers and murder mystery more on the screen rather than the book. So even though it was a great novel it isn't on my list of best reads of 2016.

This book fascinated me from the start. The idea of it having two different character point of views and not just different character chapters but actually the same scene being read from different point of view was a great experience. I went for switching between the Lyra and Gemma. The story was okayish for me not that great but it was a good reading experience over all. I think the book was a bit over hyped.

Three Dark Crowns | Kendare Blake
Pickpick

It started off confusing because of the oh so many characters. It felt like the writer was just throwing names at us. But in the last few chapters it actually got interesting. *spoiler* also I kind of had an idea that one of the queens would have the powers of the other one. I had this feeling about. But over all not a bad book.

Omg this book was amazinggg!! I thought it would focus too much on the Essen Tasch and go through the entire game but thank God it wasn't like that. I like how it describes magic. In the sense that how too much of it (like everything in your life) can be bad for you and you need to careful with it. Magic is like another character in this book. And the ending 🙈🙈 it's a torture. I NEED THE THIRD BOOK NOW!!

Jane Eyre | Charlotte Bront

Finally I finished this book. It wasn't that good as people have been telling me. But I guess in classics everyone has a different taste. I really liked that Jane was a strong woman who followed her own rules. She doesn't just say yes to a guy and the fairy tale ends. She actually thinks before making a decision. And that is the hardest thing she ever does.

I'm not even half way through and I don't think I can take it anymore. This book is so sad. I haven't had tears yet (I don't cry while reading) but my heart is breaking. Jude 😢 Oh Jude. I wish I could just hug him that is if he would let me. And I wish I could kill everyone that hurt him.

I enjoyed reading this book. There were some things which I didn't like at all in the book, such as Ron's character but the plot was gripping. We get to see some characters whom we had lost and that was sweet. I'm sure, to watch the play would be a completely different experience but I'm quite satisfied with the book.
