Not my usual fare, but I was looking for a light, quick read and had this from a subscription box many moons ago and it ended up fitting the bill. The start was a bit rough with a silly premise with lots of holes (and eye rolling from me), but ultimately I found it charming.

This was a #TBRDeckofCards draw from April that I finally checked off!! I didn't enjoy this one as much as some of West's other books. It's been a while since a YA read made me feel so old! 😂 Autumn gets locked in the library and immediately starts panicking about being BORED. IN A LIBRARY. So I wasn't sure if I was going to like her from the get-go. There were a few things I found confusing (aren't public buildings set up so that you can ⬇️

With all the #BookSpin excitement yesterday I neglected to post my #BookReport ! A pretty meh reading week for me, a combination of house projects, racing cars on the PlayStation, and getting sucked in to a terrible paranormal romance series on Kindle Unlimited 😂 I did read the tagged book, finished the Jane Austen at Home buddy read, and also read The League of Gentlewomen Witches, which for some reason isn't in my picture. I also DNFd an ⬇

Two hours left! I took a 3 hour nap earlier which will help me through the day! It‘s time for a bath for my aching bones. I have been trying not to sit too long at one time but I still am getting sore. #readathon

Rating: 4.5/5 stars.

This is probably one of my favorite Kasie West books because it tackled about mental health and how important it is to have a good support system.

Anyone else watch Arthur growing up and love the idea of getting locked in the #library? 🙋🏼‍♀️ That happens in this Kasie West, so of course, I loved experiencing the scenario vicariously through Autumn—except she doesn‘t like to read and can‘t fully appreciate the opportunity she‘s been gifted. 🤦🏼‍♀️😂 (Still, it‘s a super cute and super fun story.)⁣ #30junebooks

This was a cute book that starts out with the main character being trapped in a #library over a long weekend. She‘s locked in with a boy from school and friendship and the possibility of romance ensues. I liked that the book dealt with more serious issues such as the realities of anxiety disorder but some of it hit a bit close to home so it took me awhile to finish. #30junebooks @howjessreads #bfcr2 #bookdragons

3/5 stars. I enjoyed the beginning of this book, but once they have a big reveal, i did not enjoy everything after. Not my favorite Kasie West Book.

I have loved almost all of Kasie West‘s books, and i was enjoying this one up until the middle of the book and a big thing is revealed. There are still like 100 pages left, and I‘m just not enjoying where the story is going, and I‘m just continuing to say that i finished at this point...

This book was overall ok. After getting over the fact that the library these kids were stuck in apparently had no landline phones to call for help, I thought the rest of the story was fairly cute. I kind of wish there was more interaction between the two main characters and more of a build up to their relationship, but meh, oh well. #ya #romance #romantsy

Currently listening to this audiobook. Never heard of it before, but sounded interesting. It‘s about a high school aged girl who gets locked in the library over the weekend with fellow mysterious classmate, Dax.

So far it‘s pretty good. My only issue so far is that neither of them had a cell phone to be able to call someone, but WHY DID THIS LIBRARY NOT HAVE ANY LANDLINE PHONES??? 🤔🤔🤔 #ya #romance #romantsy #Audiobook

2 teens are trapped in a library, they get to know each other and end up helping each other with their problems. My only beef with the book is the libraries lack of technology and closing procedures. No phone? Computer? Panic button? Then again, there wouldn‘t have been a story.

I was totally Autumn in this story. I too hid my anxiety and panic attacks from my friends, and did everything that was expected of me, even if it made things worse.

Two teens get stuck in the library together. He is a foster kid kicked out of his latest home. She is a worrier with an anxiety disorder. This is a great look at expectations, commitments, and being accepted for who you are. The teens love this author and I can certainly understand why.

Sadly, my most recent 5-star read was last May. It was By Your Side by Kasie West. I was in an epic reading slump for the last half of 2018, though. I only read 4 books in 6 months. 😳😢😭 #boutofbooks #bob24igphoto

Adorable story with tons of sexy tension. While not completely believable it managed to make me want to believe and that‘s all that matters.

This was pure fluff and I adored it. Although it did have the serious subject matter of dealing with anxiety. It‘s a fun one sitting read.

I didnt care for most parts, got distracted and stuff, BUT I loved it enough to finish it because some parts were acturally pretty good, those parts I loved, some parts were just ehhhh....Ok lol

Kasie West Contemporary ... need I say more. This was an amazing read, the characters were so well written and the potrayal of mental heath in this book was sooo well done!! Totally recommend to all :)

This was a quick and easy read.
Autumn gets locked into the library and is trying not to let her anxiety take over. While trapped she realizes she isn‘t alone and finds a classmate is also there with her, Dax.
The story follows how Autumn deals with her anxiety and finally allowing her friends know about it. She also falls for Dax who helps her realize that thinking about herself isn‘t selfish.

I didn't think this was bad. I was more entertained by this one than One Silver Summer. But I wasn't invested in the romance, friendships, or family relations.
Side note... that library should have had phones at the reference and circulation desks...

Like Twilight without vampires, and cabin-in-the-woods romance except the cabin is a public library, and #BreakfastClub but with a cast of two. I was interested in the premise of two teens stuck in a library but the plot weakened into tiresome teen drama in the outside world #romantsy

This was my second Kasie West and it was just as adorable! I'm an official West fan!

What happens when you are trapped for a full weekend in a library with no way out along with the loner boy from school? (I personally would have read the whole time, but this story was much cuter than my reality would've been).

This was incredibly cheesy and had a severe lack of well-developed characters, but the plot was entertaining and I did enjoy the book as a whole.

Second Kasie West read. So much lying happening, which means disaster will happen soon. Still, it's cute so far.
