I loved the characters and crazy plot in this book. Most of all I enjoyed the subtle humor in the narrator. Awesome.

Listening to the audio book and loving it. Amazing performance by Martin Jarvis. So much humor packed into this story. I love the narrator‘s voice and the subtle jokes that really require the reader to pay attention to every word. Reminiscent of Douglas Adams.
Coming up on Woodstock‘s 50th anniversary and Cross Country‘s 1st! (Yes, the August 15 release date was planned) Thanks to all the indie bookstore owners, librarians, teachers, and readers who have made this year so much fun.

I have felt this many times while standing in the front row at an Ani show. “Not only is my relationship with my fans back to being a human-to-human thing. I believe it to be one of the very best human-to-human things.” ~ Ani DiFranco
Those who sit furthest from the center of power, see it the clearest. ~ Ani DiFranco
30 pages in and loving it. Grew up in Buffalo just a few years younger than Ani, but totally different childhoods. I keep thinking, “What year was this? In Buffalo? How d was she?” Still wrapping my mind around how different things could be 30 minutes from my neighborhood, but also remembering that we never went downtown.
Passed along a couple books to some middle school readers today. #YAlit #PeaceLoveMusic #Woodstock
No matter how many times it happens, I‘m still excited to see one of my books on a library shelf.
Great book. Interesting part of our history, and a unique take on WWII Liza Mundy gives life to the story, paints real people as characters in an exciting drama, and pulls the reader in.
Getting ready for a book festival and a few school visits. So, of course, I‘m cutting and folding VWs.
Current read - interesting info on how involved this effort was, nice job of turning history into story.
Loved the movie, had to read the book. Great story, good mix of plot, characters, and science lesson.
And without thinking, without planning it, without worrying about the fact that fifty people were watching, Harry kissed her.
I‘m excited to have Cross Country selected as one of Barnes and Noble‘s 20 Favorite Indie books of 2018. Why we loved it: This is a heartfelt coming-of-age tale set during a turbulent time with a protagonist who feels both real and relatable.

Keeps giving me shivers... “I can make them hurt if I want to.” ~Young Tom Riddle in Albus Dumbledore‘s memory
If you‘ve only seen the movies, do yourself a favor and read the books. If you‘ve only read the books, treat yourself to the audio books performed by Jim Dale.
Having my books in libraries is pretty much my favorite thing ever.
Finally getting around to rereading this amazing series and remembering why I fell in love with these books. #RavenCycle #RavenBoys @MaggieStiefvater
“Dad, I wish I had a commute so I could listen to the Harry Potter audio books.”
Relaxing in a “study room” at #georgetownuniversity Can I just come here every Sunday morning to read and drink coffee?
Somewhere out there, there‘s a library with little Cross Country Volkswagens hiding on the shelves in the YA section.
When you write a book, sometimes you get to doodle in one of them.
Some of my swag from today‘s bookseller conference.
Great time today chatting about Miss E. and Cross Country at a booksellers conference.
Listening to The Witches on a drive to and from a book event. Have been waking to read this since it came out, and October seemed like a good time.
