This book started out hard to get into but eventually I couldn't stop reading and it even made me cry a little.

I can totally see this book getting turned into a TV and I would be here for it. It is amazing!
This was a pretty quick and enjoyable read! It's told through a couple different perspectives and I always love that when it's done well.
Delightful read. Very relatable.
Loved it! It was a super quick and intruiging read. Would love to read more by this author.
Wow, I did not see that coming! This book quick and intruiging!
I really wasn't sure about this book at first, it was sort of slow and I couldn't remember who each character was. But eventually it became so captivating I could not wait for my breaks at work to read it!
I loved this book! I could not put it down. Although it is a fictional story it was so rooted in the real world that I had no problem believing every word of it. This book will stay with me for a long time.
I read this book fairly quickly and was invested in the main character, Emily's, story but something was missing for me. Perhaps it is because I was born 45 or so years after these characters were and my world is so far removed from the world they lived in. Perhaps it is because a male author was writing two female characters. Perhaps it was a mix of both, but I could not get fully invested in this book.
I thought the perspective of this book was interesting and really shines a light on how young girls and women have so much pressure on them and can do anything to feel like they fit in with a group. What I did not like about this book was that it was way too spot on to Charles manson's story.
What a fantastic book. When I started it I saw it going one way, but about a chapter in I realized I was wrong and pleasantly so. You really get to know each of the characters in this book and their stories are all relatable on some level.
I randomly picked this book off the shelf at the library and it turned out to be so good! It's a quick read that keeps you guessing how things really unfolded until the end. Plus there is a bit of commentary on our criminal justice system which I liked.
Sci-fi done extremely well! I love this book and highly recommend it.
This book gets very dark and depressing but it is very good.
I really like books with multiple interwoven stories and this had just that!
Wow. One of the best books I've read. It made me cry and kept me turning the pages. I highly recommend it.
This book is great. I want all of my main characters to be grumpy old men.
Love, love, love this book. I did not want to put it down nor did I want it to end. It was so unique and heart-breaking and interesting!
As a fan of the podcast I found parts of the book to be too redundant.
I LOVE this book. It has a semi-typical unreliable narrator but I did not see the ending coming.
Did not like any of the main characters (and I don't think you're supposed to) and I was hoping for more out of this story.
So strange to read a book where you can't stand the main character!
Not my favorite Ruth Ware book but I still really enjoyed it.
A very slow build but there were parts that I thoroughly enjoyed.
It was interesting but I was hoping for more.
Thought this book was very informative but had too many small tangent stories that sometimes didn't flow very well.
