I really did enjoy this one even though it was slow paced and that's not usually what I go for. I liked the main character and how the story never felt like it was dragging.

It was a very slow beginning that I almost put it down. Then halfway through it picked up but then it felt like too much was crammed in before the end. I am intrigued and will be reading the next book in the series but I'll give it a couple books before picking it up.
I decided to try this one again after watching the first episode. 160 pages in and my attention is slipping.
Finished in a day, slow to start but held my interest. The ending however was a bit of a disappointment.
I tried to finish I did but it just kept dragging on. I ended up skipping to the end just so I could finish it. Rather disappointed that I made it through the series waiting for it to get better.
In between a pick and a so-so, the mystery of the sleeping soldiers has me intrigued. I keep going back and forth between liking Callie and wishing the siren came out more.
I got this intending to read it to the kids and ended up finishing. I now can't wait for the kids to finish it!
Took awhile to get to the ending but definitely worth it!
A great light read that follows the history of this witch family for 100 years. I enjoyed it enough to stay up until nearly 3am to finish it!
Can't even remember the last time I picked up a book but it's summer and I'm determined to work on my ever growing TBR pile!
Always interests me how everything manages to be connected in the end. Not sure if I'll be continuing the series though, each book I slowly lose interest.
After anxiously waiting for the past week I am so happy to share that I've been accepted to college! As a 30 year old single mom of two I'm nervous as hell but so excited!
While I do enjoy the series the ending fell a bit flat for me, though there was a twist or two I didn't see coming. I have to confess I may have had to speed read through the last chapter as a certain little someone was wanting attention.
I'm enjoying this series so much that I'm almost sad there's only one more book left!
I really wanted to like this one but it didn't grab me in the way I was hoping it would. Still it was an enjoyable read and there's still a chance the series could come around.
Really enjoying this series especially how this one ended, but disappointed to find out my library doesn't have the next one!
This book was amazing though you had to pay attention and unfortunately with my two littles when I got to the end I was very much lost. Fortunately the author created a page on her website to clear up some things. http://www.julieberrybooks.com/about-the-ending-unraveling-the-passion-of-dolssa
Really really enjoyed this one, and am looking forward to reading more by the author.
Stayed up until 3 finishing this in one go through I'd admit I skipped the parts about the fair. Nonfiction has never been one of my favorites though and I was more interested in the murders then anything.
Switching it up from murder and mysteries and trying this one out. So far I'm enjoying it more then I expected which is a pleasant surprise.
Flew through this one, it was a good read and I'm curious to see where the series goes.
I really wanted to like this one, but the pace was lagging and the ending just fell flat
"One taste of warm blood is never enough, Ms. Wadsworth."
Stayed up way to late finishing this one but come history and time travel I couldn't put it down. It was a bit more all over the place then I would have liked but storyline and heroine make up for it. Very intrigued to see where they take this series.
Successful trip to the library, stopped myself at 3 books and am looking forward to starting this one during the girls nap.
Both girls are asleep and I'm starting a new series after months of no reading. Here's hoping I can get a few pages read before anyone waking up.
I was really into it until the end and then it just lost me 😕
I am loving this one, I even may have stayed up way past bedtime just to be able to read more!
Was completely absorbed and finished it in two sittings, can't wait to start the next book!
Really enjoyed this trilogy and rather sad it's come to an end.
I'm loving the whole Jekyll and Hyde, but wish I wouldn't be so tired when I'm reading so I can last more then a couple chapters.
Quick read with an interesting plot, curious about the sequel and where it could be taken.
Absolutely loved this one, the haunting the love story. Definitely my kind of read!
I've been hooked since the first chapter but have barely had time to read. Both my littles are asleep now though!
11 pages in and I'm calling it a night, I'm either to tired or this book is literally going no where....
Finished Three Dark Crowns and moving onto the next book in my ever growing pile. Really should sleep but this is the only time I get to read!
Slow start but stick with it because oh the ending! Now when's the next one come out!!
My babies are sleeping so it's time to get some reading in...finally!
