Just finished book one of the Silver Springs series. Typical romance. Some of the sentence structures were a little weird, but a quick read.

This has been on my TBR list since it came out. Because I have a parent that suffers from Huntington's this book could be a wrong choice. Fingers crossed I can get through it.

Very well written. He doesn't have answers, he's trying to figure out out like the rest of us. He's honest and willingly bars his mistakes for all to see.

Book 11 of the Leaphorn and Chee series. Always a good series to read. This book had them trying to solve three murders across several jurisdictions.

I'm all about empowerment this year! This is really a great book. It's about becoming the person you were meant to be, but not doing it in a way that is harmful to others.

It was a cute book. The only reason I'm saying So-So is because there were placed, I felt, dragged to much; there were things that could have been left out. Otherwise it's a light, fun read.

As you can tell I haven't updated in awhile. I'm making my way there the Great American Read list and I'm reading them anyway I can. Other than The Help, this has been my other favorite to date. Well written, good story.

I was not overly impressed with this book. I tried to figure out why it was considered a children's classic the entire time I was reading it. I won't be reading the rest of the books.

Before I write a review there are 2 things I should confess. I have not read any works by any of the Bronte's. Nor have I seen any adaptations of their works. Next, I stared this book in July 2017. Shortly after I feel into a depression that prevented me from reading for months. As for the book, I enjoyed reading it but did not love it. The concept and execution were interesting and done well. All in all it was a good read.

I loved this book! It was a quick read. I don't want to stop reading it once I started. I can't remember the last time I wanted to sit all day and read a book cover to cover. The book is about a family of abstaining vampires. The parents haven't told the children they are vampires, leading to the events of the book.

I originally picked up this book because I like the movie and hadn't realized it was based on a book; I wanted to compare. I was surprised at how well the movie followed the book. The book is a very well written suspense novel that keeps you engaged through the entire novel. I found myself wanting to continue reading even when I was so tired I couldn't keep my eyes open.

This was the first Jojo Moyes book I've read. I know, I know, I haven't read Me Before You yet!?! I really liked her style of writing. I'm always a sucker for a book that goes between the past and the present. The characters were wonderfully written and relatable. I especially loved Daisy and her growth and developing through the book.

I loved this book! It was a hoot to listen to. If you're a Gilmore Girls fan, this is a book you will enjoy. She talks a lot about her time on Gilmore Girls both the first time around and the Netflix episodes. They are funny and sad and wonderfully awesome. I laughed and cried and didn't want the book to end.

I listened to this book so I missed a few parts of it, but caught the jist of it. Overall, it's a very interesting story about the creation of the Oxford English Dictionary and it's contributor's. It's not the type of book is normally puck up and read so I was happy that I could listen to it instead. If you enjoy history and the English language, you'll enjoy this book.
