Old, tattered, and highlighted, Random Acts of Heroic Love by Danny Scheinmann has been passed down from mom to daughter, and for good reasons. If you haven't already read it, check it out, I promise you won't regret it!

Waterstones book of the year was nothing like I expected. Normal people follows the love story between two teenagers, and takes you on a journey of personal growth and exploration of both main characters. Rooneys writing is incredible, and she definitely makes me feel like I'm standing over Marianne and Connell in each scene! However, I wish there was a plot twist or an unexpected ending, but nevertheless an easy read and hard to put down!
