I dusted off my Kindle for this one and it was well worth it. First love, lies, and deceit. This book is another great one by Tarryn Fisher. Olivia and Caleb have an interesting relationship and there are many times I was angry at them both for doing stupid things. Onto the 2nd book in this series.

Lazy Sunday! Lucas is reading the 5th book in Sapkowski's Witcher series, and I'm starting my very first Tarryn Fisher novel!

Who's read Tarryn's books? She's best friends with Colleen Hoover which is how I heard of her, but I'm not sure her books will be my taste. Only one way to find out though. 🤓

I read this book in Spanish.Two adults met since college.Their relationship was around lies, "blackmails", treason, infidelities, a dysfunctional toxic relationship.They will see each other over years like nothing had changed.The end give the idea that they transcended all those bad experiences but I'm not so sure about it.I would expected another end but it was sincere.Olivia will make you laugh with her melodramatic perverse personality. 3.3⭐️

I'm 30% in, and I'm loving it. I've tried Tarryn Fisher's books before and never made it to the end. I've wanted to like them, but just didn't. This one... So far so great! I can't wait to discover why... Well, I can't spoil it!

When you reread the same book and cry your eyes out for the second time, you know the book is gold.
Flawed heroine would be an understatement for what Olivia is. But she is honest with herself, raw and loves Caleb fiercely. Not a happily ever after story. Maybe. But one worth reading nonetheless.

I love her words. Her writing. Every book is simply amazing. Tarryns spirit and stories are magic.

Tarryn Fisher has the ability,to tear your heart out of your chest, rip it into a million pieces and still have the capacity to love her!!! This whole series is one of my all time favorites.

So it's been a few weeks now since I've read The Opportunist. I only VERY rarely read books twice (so many books to be read - not enough time, am I right?) and when I do there's usually years in between. Anyways, last night I found myself thinking about how I WANT to read this again. That good!

Such a twisted love story and I loved every minute of it.
