I did love the mini series. Thought it gave us a different view of the story. I haven't read the book yet.

Day 4 of #lovehate I mentioned them in my day 3 post but I absolutely adore Benvolio and Rosaline from Still Star-Crossed. They make me so happy!!!!
I love Romeo and Juliet. But I will never understand why so many couples want to compare relationships to the star-crossed lovers. They meet, fall in love, wed, and die in a matter of days. Why not aspire to have a relationship that withstands hardship? Romeo and Juliet gave up. #shakespeare #romeoandjuliet #yalit
I watched the pilot. Then I decided to read the book. I'll catch up on the show once I finish reading. #yalit #shakespeare #romeoandjuliet
Liked it, but didn't love it. It's interesting and I'm watching the series now.
FINISHED! This book is absolutely amazing, whether you love Shakespeare half as much as I do or simply enjoy a book filled with witty banter between the couple who profess to loathe each other but everyone knows they're actually madly in love. Absolutely a must read. I'm definitely excited to see how the rest of the TV show handles these characters and THOSE INSANE PLOT TWISTS!!!! 💕📚#Shakespeare #stillstarcrossed #melindataub #romeoandjuliet
The plot twists just keep coming with this book! It's amazing, and definitely feels Shakespearean. Can't wait to see how it all ends 🙈📚 #Shakespeare #stillstarcrossed #melindataub #romeoandjuliet #aplagueonboththesehouses
Imagine my delight when I found out my new favorite TV show is actually based on a book!!! Absolutely loving it so far! 📚💕 #Shakespeare #stillstarcrossed #melindataub #romeoandjuliet
The feud between the Montagues and the Capulets is quite a #DeadlyPassion. #Death #Characters2017 #JuneBookBugs
Has anyone else watched this new show? I'm not sure what I think about it... But I am tempted to read the book.
This was amazing!! I love Shakespeare and retellings (or in this case: a continuation) is just perfect and this story was in every way perfect.
I don't even like Romeo and Juliet. Too cliche. But I could get behind this love story for ever it was that amazing ♥️
5⭐️
PS- I did NOT enjoy that pilot episode last night. Did anyone else watch it?
Enjoyable post-Romeo and Juliet mystery. Not particularly grand literature, but I enjoyed it.
Boy, did this hit all of the right buttons for me! A spunky, clever heroine, the married-against-their-will romance trope I have a particular weakness for, an action-packed finale, and complicated relationships. The dialogue was awkward at times, but nothing that took away from the story. ★★★★☆.
CURRENTLY READING | Benvolio & Rosaline were LITERALLY the only sensible people in that ENTIRE play, so this should be interesting...
When I heard Queen Shonda Rhimes has a new show based on this, I had to get my hands on it ASAP (side note: peep the trailer). Taub is brilliant & writes Shakespearean dialogue that sounds authentic w/out being cheesy. Rosalind is a BAMF. Marry me Benvolio. Got completely caught up in this book!
