I‘m not typically one for mystery novels. I usually have them figured out 1/3 of the way through. However, Ware kept me on my toes with this one. Just when I thought I had the mystery solved, another element was added into this game of lies and secrets spanning over 20 years. #reesewitherspoonbookclub
Yellow dandelions always let me know that warmer days are just around the corner. I‘m so ready to be reading outside. #reesesbookclub
I really wanted to love this book, and parts of it I did. Yet, Eleanor Oliphant had a very slow start. Once I read a little more than half of the book, I couldn‘t seem to put it down. The book‘s plot and structure are very much like it‘s narrator. Eleanor is unsuspecting and even bland, but once the surface has been scratched another side the Eleanor, and ultimately the novel, is revealed. #reesesbookclub
This book is awesome! It was just what I needed at this moment. I have been in a bit of a reading slump the past couple of months. Abbi Waxman‘s novel definitely pulled me put of it.
Really trying to get through this book. It‘s not as good as I had hoped it would be.
I laughed; I cried. It‘s such a beautiful and heart warming story about the world‘s most loyal dog. Immediately after finishing, I had to snuggle my own three dogs.
I don‘t read a lot of nonfiction. I almost exclusively stick to novels. Yet, once in a great while, a nonfiction work will captivate me. I am currently LOVING The Queens of Animation right now. It is an extremely fascinating look at the history of women artist within the Walt Disney Studios. I highly recommend it.
Luckily I stocked up before the library had to close for a few weeks.
I‘m about halfway through the book. It‘s not the best thing I‘ve ever read, but it‘s fun so far.
I don‘t think there is a more accurate description of Kentucky
I love that my school librarians will order anything I request. I first heard about this novel while I was at the AP literature reading last summer. It is an amazing mix of science fiction and historical fiction.
It took me a little while to get into the book, but once I gave it a chance, I throughly enjoyed it.
Three books in three days. All three are wonderful. #janeausten
Rainy winter days are meant for warm drinks and good books.
Until she writes another novel, I‘ll just be reading her short story #rainbowrowell
🤞hoping this one is good!
I‘m considering teaching a comedy to my AP literature class. They just finished Othello, and they loved it. Thoughts? #aplit #apliterature #apteacher #teachersoflitsy #shakespeare #williamshakespeare
Continuing my Jane Austen run #janeaustenproject
I seem to be on an Austen kick lately. My goal is to read them all before the year is out. #janeausten
I had the pleasure of meeting Frank X Walker back in my undergrad days. #riotgrams #signedbooks
I can‘t seem to put this book down. I think this is my favorite Stephen King
My favorite—Jane Steele—and least favorite—Wide Sargasso Sea—both happen to be inspired by Jane Eyre. #24in48
I persuaded my parents to buy this book for me in high school since I had a cat named Oliver. I have yet to open it. This book has been on my shelf for almost 20 years. The good news is that it is in prime condition! #24in48 @24in48
