I got a dog this week. I'm not going to lie, it's been rough. But he's really really really cute and I hope we get used to each other. His name is Joseph, A Dog (a play on a family joke). #dogsoflitsy

Catsandbooks 😍 I adopted a dog earlier this year and it was so hard in the beginning. So much so that my husband and I considered bringing her back, but we made it through and now she is such a wonderful and sweet dog! I can't imagine her not being a part of our family! 🥰 Remember the 3 days, 3 weeks, 3 months rule. It take a lot longer than expected for a rescue to adjust to their new home. Kelly_the_Bookish_Sidekick How cute!!😍 The early days with our pup were difficult as we were getting to know each other. Even after 5 years, the first couple of weeks I worked from home in March were hard, but slowly we got into a rhythm. At the end of the day, the unconditional love is worth it.
