Seized the opportunity to read this delightful book which was returned early by a library patron. Since it is an ILL, I tried to finish it quickly. A lovely, simple tale about the value of being loved and appreciated for who you are. Mrs Harris‘ honestly is so refreshing!

slategreyskies I love ILL books! I used to request them quite a bit in my old library system, but my new library system is a bit more restrictive and charges a few dollars per ILL, so I haven‘t used it here yet. 2y
SayersLover Our library used to charge a few dollars every ILL loan as well. That just got officially changed last month! Now our patrons can feel free to expand their reading choices😀 @slategreyskies 2y

What a delightful little story about an English char woman who decides she will do whatever it takes to earn herself a Dior dress—and all the lives she changes in the midst of it. Sometimes I want a story that leaves me in happy tears and this was it! Lovely illustrated vintage edition!!!

LeahBergen I‘ve been meaning to read this one for years! 4y
BarbaraBB I loved this one so much!! It deserves all positive attention. Read it @LeahBergen it is SO up your alley! 4y
LeahBergen @BarbaraBB Well, now I‘m DEFINITELY going to have to order that copy I‘ve been eyeing. 😆 4y

This is the HALLMARK movie of books. Such a charming and cozy story. I absolutely adored Mrs. Harris and her adventure. I want to be best friends with her. She is so much fun. 4.5 out of 5.
