Stylistically, it‘s a mess but 1st drafts are messy. I‘m so close-just under 5k words to go. One more day off before I have to go back to work. Hopefully I can get it done tomorrow, or at least mostly done. #ivegotthis #nanowrimo

Early morning encouragement from my sister. 😂

julesG We all want a signed copy, please. Go tell her, or will she get a heart attack. 7y
CocoReads @julesG lol—I‘m the one with the panic attacks. I finished it on Monday and just gave her s copy last night. 😊 7y
julesG Sorry. Anyway. I'd like a signed copy. 7y
julesG And please don't get a heart attack now. 7y
CocoReads @julesG—that‘s ok. No danger of a heart attack. I‘d actually told her a few texts later that I was feeling pretty chill. I‘m just happy to have finished it, I‘ve never finished anything I‘ve started before. 😄 7y

Pickpick

It's a pick even though I'm not sure this system is for me. I'm not a huge pre-planner and prefer my characters to tell me what they're up to but I do find some planning to be helpful. I can see myself using some of these worksheets though and making my own system. I'm not sure I can write a book in a month but I'm planning on doing my first nanowrimo this year, and I think it was s good book for prepping.

LiteraryinPA Good for you!! 7y
CocoReads I'm excited and nervous. November is a busy time at work and with the family but if I never try, I can't succeed, right? 7y
beccaeve NaNoWriMo is awesome. I've done it a few times. If there are write-ins in your area, I really recommend trying to go (you can find them on NaNoWriMo.org). The community really helped me make it through. 7y

Today's #bookmail . Prepping for Nanowrimo in November...the error on the cover is irritating though.

LauraAndTaraAndBooks Oh my god, how did they even miss that?!! 😬😬😬 8y
Lynnsoprano Can't believe that was missed! 8y
Jokila lol it's so obvious! I'm really bad at spotting errors like this and even I'm shocked lol 😂 I hope it's a good tool though! Let us know if it helps! 8y

CocoReads Right? I'm usually bad at those what's wrong with this picture things and I saw it too! It looks pretty good. 8y
Karkar I know I am going to feel dumb after asking.... help me find the error 🤤 8y
CocoReads @Karkar it's the calendar--there's two Day 28s on it. 8y
Karkar @CocoReads I cannot believe I missed that hahahahahahaha 😂😂 8y
CocoReads Honestly it took me a minute 3 weeks ago when my sister bought the same book. But now neither of us can get it out of our heads! 8y
Megabooks @Karkar I missed it too! 8y

BookishClaire @rachelm yes - this'll be my third time but it remains terrifying :) 8y
rachelm I've written two novels NOT in a month, but hopefully I can push through to word count in November 8y
