@Chrissyreadit Thank you so much for recommending this cookbook! I made the Dilly Stew With Rosemary Dumplings and it was delicious, without being overly laborious. (Doesn't photograph well, but it tasted very good 😆). Excited to try more recipes from this one 👍🏼

Chrissyreadit Oh good! That one sounds yummy and I haven‘t tried it yet. I may have to this weekend. 5y

#manicmonday @JoScho
1. Isa Does It (tagged)
2. Not a meat eater
3. Isa Moskowitz
4. My mom grew up in the Philippines and I grew up here but when I was little every summer she would combine sweet corn, cheddar cubes, crushed ice, and cream and give that to me for dessert. When I got older I would make this but I would veganize it 🌽🥛🧀🥄

JoScho 😋❤️🌽 6y
Tungstensmum Also hot dogs (meaty or not) are *not* sandwiches 5y

First time cooking with tofu! This seriously might be my new favorite dinner. Mmm 😋

Curried Peanut Sauce Bowl with Tofu and Kale.

kspenmoll Yum! 6y
2BR02B Sounds fantastic! All Isa's cookbooks are great. 6y
Maria514626 I‘ll have to check that out! I haven‘t had much luck with tofu but I‘d like to add more plant protein to my diet. And I might just eat a shoe if there was peanut sauce on it. 🤣 6y

JPeterson @kspenmoll It was delicious! 6y
JPeterson @2BR02B Yes! I had originally checked it out from the library, but after the 3rd renewal, decided I should just go ahead and order a copy for myself. 😄 6y
JPeterson @Maria514626 The tofu was good, but sauce was amazing! It really made the dish. 6y
Jess Isa rocks! Looks great. 6y
Nu-Bibliophile I love that cookbook! 6y
Maria514626 @JPeterson I‘ll go back to the tofu-experimenting table! 6y

My bookshelves are arranged by genre-- this shelf (cookbooks) is in my dining area. Sticky notes mark recipes I want to try. Anyone else read cookbooks for fun? @Litsy #readathon #24in48

MaryAnn1 I LOVE cookbooks, but I don't cook!!😁 8y

flyfarther79 Yay another vegan! 8y
JackieSmith @flyfarther79 Yep! ☺️ 8y
JackieSmith @ReadingEnvy Thanks for the recipe tips! Haven't tried either of those. The 5-spice portobello satays and Spring Tarragon & Asparagus Pasta Salad are both excellent. 8y
Eyelit I do! I also sticky note my cookbooks to mark the recipes I want to try... And once I've tried them I use same sticky notes to write down recipe modifications. 😄 8y
Tungstensmum Basically my cookbook shelf. I‘d get a lot more regular reading done if I wasn‘t always cooking through a cookbook. 5y
