This comic is so cute but at times I felt that Jonesy was a little to childish. I know I‘m not the intended reading group for these and I get I‘m not going to like some things.

I think the Jonesy character is really cute and I love that there are LGBTQ characters. The story line just needs some refinement.

I had a preview of the first Jonesy issue months back in the back of a different comic trade, and it didn't speak to me. The art was too technicolor and cartoony, the main girl too angry.

Well, I was wrong. I picked these up again for a challenge, and they're perfect. Sharp humor, queer representation, fun characters and world. I'm hooked!

Last post without a pic I promise!! I returned all these books to the library on Friday, and I forgot to take pics. This is a tale of a cute little teen girl and her crush, and very special powers that of course don‘t work when she tries to use them on herself!! Very cute and funny. The artwork is great and her father is corny but loving. Off to finish volume 2!!

Jonesy might have had the worst day ever, but I had a blast. I'll be hanging out with this little punk again soon! #queerbooks

Jonesy is about a high school girl who has the power to make people fall in love, and hijinx ensue from there. Her powers create weird situations that she she needs to fix. I love the diversity here! This is one of the most diverse books I've read in a while.

I need more Jonesy in my life. A moody teenager who hates everything, has a secret crush on Stuff (think Justin Beiber), but has the power to make anyone fall in love with anyone/thing else. It‘s a color riot full fun. The comedy is sharp but still appealing, and relevant to many ages. Whether it‘s working in her Dad‘s donut shop, or trying to destroy prom, you too will fall in love with Jonesy. More Please!

Finished my January check outs from Hoopla with this fun. I loved it. I'll dig in to a novel this weekend, but today I needed some escape. Loved the art work in this!

The cutest thing I've read in probably forever and geez Louise, did I need it today. Her dad owns a donut shop. She makes friends with one of the popular girls (kind of by accident). She has a crush on a Ziggy Stardust-ish character. She has a ferret.
