Who really killed Barbara Weaver? I know who I think did it. Love True Crime. Gregg Oslen is so good at True Crime, I think.

I‘m not a true crime reader, but the Popsugar Challenge is broadening my book choices!
This was a remarkably quick read. Some of the information was repetitive but it only served to hit home the motives of these two individuals that conspired to and eventually killed a mother of 5. Easy, engaging read. Even though it is not one of my top true crime novels it was still enjoyable (as much as true crime can be) and was what I needed on a lazy afternoon.
I was super intrigued about a scandalous event that occurred in an Amish community and getting a peak into their cultures and customs (and this did fit that bill) but the strong telling was a little dry and dragged on. It could have been a lot shorter and it would have been just as informative.
#SEEWHATIHAVEWON. I am reading Killers of the Flower Moon right now but I haven't finished it yet, so I am going with A Killing in Amish Country. It still makes my hair stand on end when I think about this story. Since I drive through this Amish area frequently, it really is a murder story that gives me the creeps.
This was an easy to read true crime book that wasn't bogged down in a lot of detail. It did have many text messages from the murderers and dialogue from the court transcripts that kept me thoroughly invested. It's a good look inside the secretive Amish community.
The Amish fascinate me and I have spent time where all these events took place, so I'm really interested in this book. #andawayhegoestojail #Andawaytheygo
My Christmas book haul! Now I need to finish Swimming Lessons so I can dig in.
