Last night, on a whim, I went through my bookshelves and did a purge. I tried to be brutally honest about books I will likely never read, didn‘t like when I read them, or will likely never return to. The result is the removal of these 250 books. #bookpurge

Well, it's taken me way too long but I've finally pulled my books off the shelves and out of boxes and am weeding through them. Some might call it work, but it's rather fun. By the way, the book piles and boxes continue around the corner into the hallway.

writerlibrarian I do this for a living, yes it is fun and somehow cathartic. Says the librarian who enjoys wedding a lot. 8y

One of my #bookishresolutions (well, really the only one) is to go through, weed out, and organize my library. I have 5 bookshelves of various sizes in the house, plus boxes of books in my basement. Here's one of the shelves. I can't remember the last time I weeded, so it's time. #readjanuary
