#7days7books Day 1
Seven books that made a deep impression.
My all-time favourite book as a kid. It may have formed my sense of humour. It definitely affirmed my dislike of camp. 😅

How did you choose this book: This was a book that I started reading a long time ago, and when I finished my other book, I went back to this one.
Brief summary of the novel: Rudy Miller meets his new friend Mike Webster at camp. Except Rudy hates it here, so they make all these crazy attempts to get back to the mainland and go home, were they successful, maybe.
I fell in love with this book in the 5th grade. Recently read it to my 7 year old son! I loved reliving all the funny antics of the best/worst summer camp ever! Lots of laughs!
1. I Want to Go Home by Gordon Korman
2. Jesus Christ Superstar.
3. Bad, Bad Leroy Brown by Jim Croce; Country Roads by John Denver; Dancing Queen by ABBA. (Oh how I dreamed to be 17!)
4. Who hasn't been tagged?

Hard to remember what I read first, but Anne is the oldest children‘s book I own by original publication date, and I have fond memories of my (probably/definitely stolen from my older sisters) Gordon Kormans, especially reading this one aloud to my friends both on the drive to and from Summer camp. #24in48 @24in48
I loved these books by #Canadianauthor Gordon Korman when I was a kid! #marchintoreading @RealLifeReading

I have been reading this book annually, ever since I first found it when I was 12 years old. While I can breeze through it in a matter of hours now, it still makes me laugh and take me back to those summer camp days!
