I inherited this book from someone who did a cover buy and didn‘t flip it over to see it was written in Spanish. This is a short story of multiple adrenaline dumps held together with a thin plot. Unfortunately, all of the nuance is lost.

Just couldn't get into the other book I'd been reading this past week with so much going on. Hopefully I can get into this one.

Finished this and enjoyed it. Fitting Memorial Day read. Congress is voting on a bill that will protect the funding going to Veterans and Veteran services. A must read for Alex Cross fans.

Hoping to finish these two books before the end of the month. Took some time to do my nails. Color changing polish. 💅🏻 Purple/Black when I'm cold, Lavender/Silver when warm. Then a cappuccino and back to enjoying my books. 🤓📚

While suspended from the force Alex reopens his psychology practice and is trying to help a young vet find her feet again. Meanwhile his wife Bree is working on the case of her life. Bombs are being left in various places to "wake people up" and the bomber is calling her directly to warn her before each one.
I loved this one. It was an interesting premise and the characters were amazing. Is it wrong to love the villian? 5☆'s!
