🎧 I bought 4 of these novels. I thoroughly enjoyed each! This one is a compilation of short stories.
We begin where we left off in book one. Watson has killed Warlock in a couple of ways & he‘s currently a decaying corpse. What should come along? A job for Watson that could reverse Holmes‘ problem (death) and voila … the game‘s afoot!!
Loved it!

Oh dear... I have some catching up to do today! Late review 1 of 3
Warlock was at it again, with good old Watson at his side keeping him (mostly) alive. I really liked getting to learn more about the making of Warlock Holmes, and his back story was superbly crafted for his character.
This is a truly excellent series so far!
So much love for this book!! I am gutted my library app doesn‘t have any audio versions of the others, the narration was brilliant and there was something wonderful about listening to it. I really enjoyed picking out the threads of the original stories and being totally fooled into thinking I knew how it was going to turn out! Such a creative reimagining, can‘t wait to get my hands on more! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Listening to this today while I continue cleaning and unpacking. It‘s safe to say that I‘m obsessed!
Written in a way that made it seem like connected short stories. Decent enough mashup of Sherlock Holmes, the paranormal, and humor. It was fine, and humorous enough, but after a while it kind of all ran together. Liked the illustrations.
Sherlock Holmes, but make it magic. Very much a retelling, Warlock Holmes finds himself in quite the mystical conundrum during all three stories contained within these pages. The first two I felt were a little over the top with the quirk, but when it came to the major tale of the Hell-hound of the Baskervilles, I finally felt like it hit its stride. So if you like seeing old tales retold anew, this may one for you to check out.
1) The Sea Queen + tagged book
2) "God save the Queen," we all agreed and shared a quiet moment.
3) Raspberry Lemonade

I am enjoying these ridiculous and hilarious stories of Warlock Holmes. Poor Watson has his hands full! 😂😂😂
I've gotten half way through and am bailing. The concept was good and it seemed a good October read. I just found it confusing and a bit gross description wise. Melting corpses, bizzare vomit etc. I don't have a lot of magical reading background so the clues went over my head.
There are some quite funny lines and some excellent non gross descriptions but it just wasn't my sort of book. I think people who love zombies etc would love it.

Such a great little blurb.
The second book in Warlock Holmes series is out! Totally crazy so far and one of the funniest audiobooks Ever. I'm in the middle of it and loving the really talented narrator. He makes the totally nonsensical world in the book sound believable😄
Been struggling to get any reading done these past few days. #financialreads
