I cant say this was as good as the first one, as nothing really happened until 1/4 way through the book. The story was really good and I loved the characters, old and new! I'm definitely going to read the last one in the series, especially since this finished on a cliffhanger. I also loved the continuous sarcasm and wit between Pennryn and Raffe, and the romance they have going on, I just wish they would be endgame by now 😂😍

Woke up and felt like reading something to do with Angel's. So I chose to start reading Angelfall 2. 😊

Plot is getting more interesting, and I enjoyed it a lot. Still have the same little complaint about the writing, and the focus has shifted a tad more towards the romantic aspects of the story, but still great fun. Definitely starting the next book now.

Oh, that was good. Normally, I‘d be annoyed at the slightly obvious tropes, but the plot was so interesting that I hardly minded. Plus, no excess pages of trekking here! This is an intriguing apocalyptic story that is uncovered at a pace that was much improved. I really enjoyed Penryn‘s character arc, & even her separation from Raffe was made interesting with fun, intriguing flashbacks into his story. Can‘t wait to see how it all ends! ★★★ ½

I read the first book a few months ago and it was love at the first page. This apocalyptic world is so perfect. And, Perryn is such a badass character.

Happy to have started this one today.

This series...SO. MANY. FEELS. Seriously, this has everything: end of world panic and adventure, resistance fighters, angels, demons, human abominations, a sarcastic, badass female protagonist, a "pookie bear," typical (and some not so typical) family struggles, and a forbidden love that's just dying to be announced (&rooted for). Nachdem ich den Beginn ein wenig schleppend fand, hat mich Band II ab dem zweiten Drittel total umgehauen. Die Szenenbeschreibungen waren teilweise heftig und blutig. Aber ich fands cool. An manchen Stellen empfand ich das Ein oder Andere unlogisch, was der Lesefreude aber nicht wirklich einen Abbruch tat. Ein toller zweiter Band 😊👍 #Fantasy #Dystopie #Angel #german

Bereits den Auftakt zur "Angelfall"-Trilogie habe ich verschlungen. Und auch die Fortsetzung "Angelfall - Tage der Dunkelheit" ist einfach nur geilomat ? Und auch leider fast schon wieder beendet. ??

The darkness continues in this sequel and I just loved it. The Angel's plans, the human's desperation and everything tearing Penryn and Raffe apart is just so compelling to read.

What the Amazon delivery man brought me today. SO excited to get into these!
