“That was all going to change. Starting now.” - Caleb

My first Maya Banks & I didn‘t read the synopsis but, it‘s for sure not foreseeing it being my last (even beyond this series). I‘m hardly into it & loving it❤️‍🔥 Series stacked already.

😈😏Not gonna lie, I‘m loving the macho man vibe. I have a feeling this one‘s gonna get mighty🌶️😏 Hold onto your seats🎢 & standby‼️

CoverToCoverGirl Get your fan ready!🔥🤭 8mo

This could have been a great story but the plot didn't work all that well and there was not enough depth to the characters for my tastes. Going into this book, I liked the concept of using mental powers to connect with others but it was over done and felt more like fantasy than fiction. Just wasn't what I was expecting. In addition, the ending felt rushed and too perfect for the type of trauma suffered by the characters. 2.5 ⭐️

TheSpineView This is my #BookSpin choice for March. #BookSpinBingo @TheAromaofBooks 13mo

Solid meh. It was a really easy read which was nice. But it took strange turns that didn‘t really make sense; usually in the form of ill-placed sex scenes. 🤨 I‘ll probably pick up another Banks book because of how quick and bearable it was though. Perfect waiting room type of book.

It‘s between pick and so-so. I liked the story, the idea of a psychic and a psychic serial killer was interesting and suspenseful- but the periods of overthinking and no action bogged the book down. #romantsy #romance

Hottt DAMNNN this was soo good, I can't wait for the next book in the series.. Maya Banks has been officially added to the list of auto buy authors for me. Her writing style will keep you hooked from the start and wont let go until the very end. Caleb and Ramie's relationship was amazing to read about and I would love to see a full film from this series. I hope the second book is just as fire as this first one.

My first DNF in a while. There was a lot of telling; the romance was distractingly insta-love; and the heroine was annoying and inconsistently characterized. Disappointing, because paranormal suspense can be my jam - this book just wasn't it.

Maya Banks has an addictive quality to her books, which always makes me read (or listen) on, despite my issues.

What did I read? Psychics and serial killers and a protagonists name I can't pronounce correctly in my head...is it RAM-ie or RA-mie or is it REM-i.e.??? No clue and it drive me bat shit insane the entire time. More plot than sex but not too bad

Pls forgive me if I rate pan for this book. I couldn't and wouldn't recommend to anyone UNLESS u can read a 📚 where u dislike almost all the characters. Unless u are interested in psychic powers ttm. If not, then don't pick up this. The characters are horrible to like. There's potential in the book but some scene is too over for me. #ebook #romanticsuspense
