I wasn't really enjoying the book much until this chapter. Mr. Collins is such a condescending bastard that I'm angry *for* Lizzy. I actually laughed out loud at her father's response here. 😂
I don't know how I've never read this before, but the kiddo and I decided to buddy read it. She loves the #classics and I'm really enjoying this annotated version! #raisingreaders

This challenge was a tad bit difficult for me... in regards to which aspect of the collection I wanted to highlight. I decided to go with the annotated versions, of the 120 there are two.
I read Pride & Prejudice early this summer via serial reader. Since then, I have been searching for just the right print edition to add to my bookshelf. Exploring the bookstore with my friend while our daughters were at a Brownies thing, this copy caught my eye. I look forward to a reread someday and learning a bit about the time period along the way!
pickFor Fun Photo Friday, I choose P&P. I usually reread one of Austen's novel every year or two. I love her humor and the radical agency she gave women to form their lives.
pickI throughly enjoyed this book. I loved the character development and the growing romance between Elizabeth and Darcy, as well as the rich descriptions and old fashioned language. I found the notes in this addition very helpful, though sometimes distracting and not pertinent to the story itself.

It is a truth universally acknowledged that Pride & Prejudice best accompanies spring weather.
pickSuperb annotations for Jane Austen fans. It is a bit hard to read as just the novel itself,as the annotations are on facing pages from the text, so I would not recommend for first time readers.
