Here's a couple books that I brought back in August. Can‘t wait to read them all.

I was able to read an e-ARC of this book via Netgalley thanks to the publisher, and I really enjoyed it! It was a great summer (quick) read, although I was weirded out a bit by repeated references to the main character's "urges." ? I was able to relate to this book, though, because I used to be in the same world of competitive swimming.
Overall, I am glad I read a Miranda Kenneally book, finally!

This is what our reviewer had to say about #ComingUpforAir by @mirandakenneally "This series has come a long way...the plot has become increasingly more elaborate, relatable and realistic. COMING UP FOR AIR is...one of the best novels by Kenneally."
Heading to the pool or beach this weekend? Grab a copy of Miranda Kenneally's newest, Coming Up for Air! It's the perfect summer read.
Mail came today!!! I am starting a stack of books to take for our family road trip at the end of the month. #summerreads #vacation
I dove into this book not knowing if I would enjoy it, and I loved EVERYTHING. From the writing, the friendships, the characters, the humor, the plot, the ending, the romance and all that FEELS…. I LOVED IT ALL. This book is just so huggable – it‘s light, funny, and so stinking cute.
Pulled an all nighter reading this one! This is such a great series for teens, especially girls, that explores family, faith, friendships and sexuality. I think this is the last book in the Hundred Oaks series. If so, it ended on a high note with Maggie & Levi's friends to more romance. #summerreading @Sourcebooks
I only meant to start this book last night, but ended up reading it all the way through! This is the last of the series, and Kenneally is really going out on top with this. I loved Maggie & Levi!! #alaac17
Really enjoyed this YA read about swimming, a friendship turned to love, and female frenemies. Part of a set of companion books that tackle a lot of issues that other YAs shy away from.
Have you read any of these? You can check out my full review on the blog!

Been a while since I added a new review. This book is out on July 1st, and my review is now up at my blog, https://trishtalkstexts.wordpress.com/2017/06/24/review-coming-up-for-air-by-mir.... I have read all her YA novels and enjoy her #sexpositive and #sporty approach. Thanks #netgalley and #sourcebooksfire for ARC
Most importantly: I am jealous of a town-wide pajama party.
(Light spoilers, but it's romance, these are the tropes)
This is maybe the first YA I've read that's both friends-to-lovers AND sex-to-feelings?
An interesting read after AMERICAN HOOKUP, since Maggie's decision is motivated in large part by the belief that EVERYONE IN COLLEGE HOOKS UP.
I also always appreciate that Kenneally's teen athletes spend ALL THEIR TIME sportsing and eating.
Love love love. This might be my favorite Kenneally book yet. (It's giving Stealing Parker and Things I Can't Forget a run for their money). If you have read one of her books I 100% recommend you do so. ❤️
Cuddling with this grumpy cutie while I binge read Miranda Kenneally's latest arc. #dogsoflitsy #favoriteauthors
A solid final book in the Hundred Oaks series. It was refreshingly sex-positive and worked to not only normalize female teen sexual desire but also the fact that everyone has relationships in their own time. In tackling these issues, though, it started to feel a bit like an after-school special. Fans of the series will be happy, especially with the epilogue.
Breathe, Annie, Breathe remains my favorite HO book.
*ARC from NetGalley #trc2017
One of my favorite things is when teen books have characters who are readers and reference other teen books. In this book the main character's male best friend and possible love interest is the reader! Yay for a hot swimmer boy who reads! He has pretty good taste in books. #arc
