Can‘t think of a more beautiful setting for coffee and my book today!!

I liked this book and it was a pretty quick read, but I found myself getting super frustrated with some of the characters. Without throwing in spoilers, one of the story lines includes spousal abuse and an overbearing and intrusive mother-in-law, yet the character who deals with these issues makes excuses and allows things to continue. Too many women putting up with too much BS. However, I still recommend it, as the story itself was intriguing.

This book made me all kinds of tense. It‘s a great family drama with wonderful character development. If you can handle the crazy family tension you‘ll like it. I wanted to slap them all and move on. Lol

Been busy with pre-holiday stuff but managed to read this one based on a recommendation from here. I usually love plot driven stories with good characters. This was character driven with minor plot, but It held enough tension throughout to keep me interested.

So anyway, I am reading the wrong book!!

I meant to read the Harrison one!! Best seller Sunday times etc but I am reading one by Kerry Fisher, no patent on book names obviously 😂😂😂

This was a daily deal from Audible so just bought it because it had a good rating and it was good value. Have to say I'm glad I did as I really enjoyed this book! Shows you should take a chance with a book every now and again. If you enjoy books about relationships and hidden family secrets then this could be the book for you!

Starting The Silent Wife as my commute listen this week. Starting early so I can get into the book and work out who's who before the first commute with it. This was a Daily Deal from Audible some time back.

We're about halfway through this and so far so good! I think mr. Oogie boogie is upset with me...

A really enjoyable book about family and extended family. No family is perfect and this book shows a family warts and all. This book kept me wanting to know more and flowed really well
