This was a nice introduction into Marie Curie and I can imagine that for kids it‘s even better. I loved the illustrations and the text was short and to the point. I borrowed this from the library because I hardly knew anything about her.

AnneCecilie I learned a lot from this book, but I really want to highlight that during WW1 she invented the use of x-rays to help the hurt soldiers. After the war she helped girls to study at her institute. #TIL 4y

Love these children‘s books. There is a whole batch of them and they are so detailed in art and story. A delight to read whether my lad wants me to read them or not!

Every year I give my kids books and pjs on Christmas Eve. It started as my way to micromanage outfits for Christmas morning pictures, but we've read some good stories along the way.

This was a fabulous picture book about Marie Curie! Such a fascinating woman. Does anyone know of any good books about her? All this talk of radium and physics is making my brain hungry. #picturebook #kidlit

charl08 I enjoyed this historical novel about Marie and her tech assistant. 7y
Jess_Read_This I just listened to a great podcast from the History Chicks on her life. These were three books they recommended- Madame Curie is written by her daughter Eve! 7y
