I liked this. Seeing part of Julian‘s home life included a visit to his grandmother in Paris, and I loved her story.

I read Wonder a few years ago and loved it and it's message. Reading the ignorance of Julian's parents in the first half of Julian's chapter was difficult, but I loved Grandmere's story and how it changed the views of the entire family. #choosekind

So, so good! Next up is Pluto:A Wonder Story. I'm really enjoying these books and love the little novellas! ❤️❤️❤️

Loved that we got a little redemption story.

Halfway to my reading goal!

I almost gave up halfway through because I couldn't tolerate Julian's attitude or his parents, but glad I stuck with it. Definitely worth reading after Wonder.

So after reading Wonder I'd made my mind up that Julian was just a little turd. The first half of this book reinforced my belief... and then everything I thought I knew began to unravel. As a black and white sort of guy, this brilliant account of Julian taught me that things are many shades of grey. If you have kids read this empathy building series with them. If you don't, read it yourself. Like me you might just learn something.

I need to find out why Julian was such a shit!

This short story puts an interesting light on the thoughts of a perceived bully. When read after Wonder, this is a great way to showcase empathy.
