December 29: Last Read of 2017 - this will be my last read of the year. Looking forward to 2018! #allthebooksdec
Cute, fluffy and christmassy. A little predictable sometimes but I still enjoy reading about cutesy love stories.
When you can‘t sleep, you read until everyone else is awake. 😂☺️🎄
December 24: Book with Milk & Cookies - It's never too cold for ice cream! #Pusheen is ready for Santa with my current read and the pecan balls my aunt made! #cookiesandmilk #allthebooksdec
December 21: Hello, Winter! (Winter Reads) - You could definitely cozy up with these winters reads. I plan to this weekend after I finish Holly. #christmasreads #allthebooksdec
I just read two books back to back that are weighing very heavy on my mind and emotions (The Break and Seven Fallen Feathers - both highly recommended, they are well written, engrossing, important books, but they will haunt you. As they should. Will tag in comments). So now I need a mental time out. Holiday themed fluffy YA? Perfect!
Cute, but predictable. I gave this book 3 stars, not because it was bad, but because this is a classic boy-next-door story with a Secret Santa twist. It was fun & festive, but lacking in substance & originality. Charlie, the main character, was pretty unlikeable as well - her “late passes,” scoffing at other‘s interests ... she got under my skin for much of the book. Overall though, a nice, light rom-com for the holidays. #seasonsreadings2017
Charlie is troubled- right after her boyfriend dumps her-yet right before the holidays. A self proclaimed control freak, Charlie sets her sights on a new boy. All she needs is a little Secret Santa magic- and the help of her arch nemesis, who also happens to be his cousin. Compared to classic literature, this isn't spectacular. But it succeeds in being what it sets out to be light, holiday fun. I'm a sucker for love/hate relationships, too!
December 2: #letitsnow - Our little #bookclub is reading two new Christmas novels this December! #allthebooksdec #decinbooks17 #seasonsreadings2017
December begins tomorrow! Cue feel good, corny stories for the next few weeks! Can I make it to 12 reads of Christmas? Here's a start...
