Lots of smart fellow nerds out here: Does anyone know how or why the 12 days of Christmas got moved to the beginning of December in popular culture? Traditionally, it is the 12 days between Christmas and the Epiphany.

@Cinfhen is correct. I planned to host a #12DaysofChristmas challenge. But there are so many this month, I understand if I have few participants. I'm still hosting it since I spent a month coloring bookmarks.
It's short (12 days) but not really simple. You need a character to match the "theme" of each day. It's based on the song, so day one would be which character reminds you of a partridge in a pear tree. It's all in good fun.
